........ where is the three quarters back? Was there ever a position called the 3/4 back?

1/4, 2/4, ___, 4/4??

Fullback are slowly being phased out of the NFL, leaving us with only the quarterback and the halfback. So, that makes me think that there might have been a three quarters back at one time. Maybe they called it something else?

This sounds like I'm joking, but I'm not. I'm serious. I'm talking about a position that may have existed way back in the 1920's or earlier.
