What the f*ck is this double standard bullsh*t? The NFL just pissed any credibility that it had away.

Goddammit Goodell :cuss:

eh, it's like a death row inmate and the appeal process--it takes forever to kill a guy these days legally...

I say we just put a bullet into merriman's skull and get it over with already :spock:

I don't believe in karma, and I don't wish injuries on anyone except Donks, but watch Merriman get injured Sunday against the Lambs...

Instead of a 4-game suspension, they'll lose him for the season.

I dont mind this at all... he will still get suspended 4 games... and if that means the Chiefs dont face him, or if SD misses him in the Playoffs... so be it...

You have to allow this appeal, even if it is BS...

What bothers me is that the other two guys got suspended without this bullshit, even though Rogers is arguably as important a defender as Merriman is. Merriman gets off clearly cheating because of his media hype, and he gets a stay of execution. They get to keep him to solidify their linebacking corps during games against St. Louis (which they could easily lose) and Cleveland (which they will definitely win w/ him in there). It's a joke.

**** Merriman.

I've never respected him, and this latest incident proves I was justified in holding such a stance.

Looks like SD may pick up a game in the "trade-off" instead of sitting out St. Louis & Cleveland he now sits Oakland & Buffalo.

the league should do a better job of accelerating the appeal process during the season.

Both St Louis and Cleveland games were @ SD, I figured they would win those anyway...

The other players didnt appeal so they would not get put in the spotlight... just serve it and get it done, especially if they are guilty...
