Bob Dole wishes he could remember which website had a poll this morning that didn't even include LJ among the choices...

Payton Manning and Tom Brady had an impressive weeks as well. This would have been a tough week to call.

when are people going to realize it's Peyton?

39 carries and 4 TD pretty much trumps anything anybody else could or would do. Even LT's 240-odd total yards and 2 TD.

When he wins a superbowl.

3 TD's*

give it to LJ because the Chargers game wasn't close and LJ scored the game winning TD for the Chiefs...

Brady's line was impressive, but anyone who watched that game couldn't really be awed by the stats. His receivers were wide open, he had no pressure in his face, and Minnesota couldn't tackle.

OK. All of a sudden, I can't understand a thing anyone is saying on any post on any thread anywhere.

What in the name of our blessed Lord and Saviour is Polk High?

FAX THE CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS

EXACTLY like Al Bundy.

Bob Dole is shocked that Peter King didn't pick up on that and use it in this week's MMQB.

It is from the TV show Married With Children, Mr. Fax. Al Bundy (the hero) had one claim to fame... he scored 4 TDs in one game for Polk High when he was a high school football player. It is fictional.

And the NFL Network just illustrated their clear bias toward "the best team not to make the playoffs" last season when they show Tomlinson highlights, then put up the candidates where they have:

Ahman Green
21 Rush, 106 yards, 2TD
VS. Cardinals

Larry Johnson
39 Rush, 155 Yards, 3 TD
VS. Seahawks

LaDainian Tomlinson
25 Rush, 183 yards, 2 TD, Receiving TD
Vs. Rams

Nice way to leave out LJ's 4th receiving TD...

I was surprised LJ has won offensive player of the week more than Priest. kcchiefs said the only player to win the award more was Joe Montana with six wins.
