I've had six groups. 15 kids total so far. One greedy little bastard reached into the bowl and grabbed about five chocolate bars. :shake:

No one.
First year in our "new" house, and not 1 kid.
I was just down at teh mom inlaw's, making the rounds to get a bag of goodies from the "great aunties" (The wife grew up with no dad, so her 3 great aunts are like grand parents) and I told one groupe walking by the house, first one to my place gets a box of 50 FULL size bars, and a case of gingerale.

Zero. It's colder that a you know what in a brass bra out there. Kids these days are a bunch of limp nipples. We went out when it was well below zero and snowing like a SOB. Hell these days, if it's below 30, little Johnny isn't leaving the house.

Its really lame here to, only had about 6. When i was young the damn streets were crawling with us. A few factors at work that seem to get worse every year 1) weather, doesnt change but as Bwana said kids are weak these days 2) parents are scared to death, alot of times with good reason 3) political correctness run amock....."we cant have the kids celebrating samhain!!! "

You might have,
I sat glued to a chair in the "family room" doing a freaken "Watchtower" study with my proper little JW parents learning all about the "pagan" origins of Halloween.:cuss:

Good god I can’t wait till next year when or baby is old enough for dad to FINALLY (after 38 years) go "trick or treating"for the first time. :)

About 100 so far. We give out giant pixy sticks (those 3 foot plastic tubes of kiddie cocaine) and a couple full size candy bars to each kid. We spend about $150 on candy every year. Got enough for about 150 more kids. Hope we don't run out like last year.

why in god's name would you waste 150 hard earned dollars on candy for a bunch of stupid kids? You can go to wal-mart and buy a giant bag of candy for 5 bucks.

hahaha

I was a kid once. I realize now as an adult, a couple hundred bucks in candy is definitely worth it to not have to clean up TP and the like. We have a TON of kids in the neighborhood. It's protection money well spent!

$5 won't cover a couple hundred kids, unless you expect me to give out a single m&m to each? Besides, I may be too old to act like a kid, but it doesn't mean I've forgotten what's it's like to be one.

Too many to count. Halloween down here in Texas is a big deal with the mild weather and everything. A couple of guys in my subdivision built Haunted Houses as well.

I had so many that we ran out of our store bought batch and started stealing from our kids buckets.

The little kids ages 2-5 were going to the malls when my kid was that age. I thought that was weird. But hadda do it one year, myself, as it poured like crazy—just no one was around here. The lines at the mall were unbearably long with whining, wiggling kids everywhere.

I didn't count but I went through almost three good size bowls of candy. Course I left for an hour to see the haunted house so I hadda lock up...I probably would have gone through 4 bowls.

we finished with roughly 8 rings on the doorbell. Groups ranging from 2-12. Slower than last year. We watched the remake of 'When a Stranger Calls' and ate Chili, like most horror movies it was cheesy but surprisingly fairly entertaining.
