that is alive or any athlete from any other sport who would you pick?

For me

Football - This is a tough one for me. Do I pick Shields because I think the guy is a class act or Roaf to beg him to come back for the rest of the season? :hmmm: Then again there is Romanowski but I know you guys hate him so I'll just leave it at that.

Baseball - Jeff Kent and yes I would try to get him to leave that stinking Dodgers team.

Basketball - I am torn between Charles Barkely and Magic Johnson.

Hockey - Wayne Gretzky

Motor Sports - Kenny Roberts

MMA - Randy Couture followed closely by Wanderlei Silva. I got to meet Randy before, great guy. It would be cool to chill for day though.

If it can be a former player, then ChiefPote may have made the best choice. Joe Namath.

If it's a current player, I'd go with either Boomer or Trent. Or maybe Tony G, depending on whether Tony G wanted me there or whether I won a contest or something and he just wants to ditch me as fast as possible.

Baseball: Cal Ripkin

Motor sports is the hard one for me. There’re so many I’d like to hang with, Carrol Shelby, Gale Banks, Ivan Stewart, like BD mentioned Kenny Roberts, etc…. my list would be nearly infinite.
But the one I’d probably enjoy the most would be to hang with Keith “Shine” Dennis for a drag race weekend. That chit talk’n bastards gotta be hilarious to hang out with.

That's kind of how I feel. I think Tony is an extremely intelligent guy, and probably has a lot to say about the NFL and his view of it from the inside. However, I've also heard he's not very good at humoring people. If he doesn't want to be there, you'll definitely know about it.

So, #88 for me if he's in the talking mood. Otherwise, I think I'd probably pick Will Shields or Brian Waters.
