Does WVU got a good chance for a National Title shot? I think they do if they go undefeated.

Oh man, if he didn't stumbled there, that was almost a sure six there.

Colby Smith. Right now everyone in Louisville is asking Bush who?

WVU's center tips the snap count. He puts his head down to look at the QB then snaps it as soon as he brings his head back up.

Naw, there are some good defensive teams there.

WVU and Louisville are that good on offense, it's a pain in the ass to scheme against those two for any defensive coordinator.

Now, go Rutgers next week & go Buckeyes Nov 18th.

It'd be a crime if a Big East team made it to the NC over the SEC winner.

Thats nonsense. The NC should be between Boise State and Rutgers. None of these silly SEC teams with their cream puff schedules should be allowed anywhere near the NC.

there needs to be a playoff. without a playoff we are only rewarding teams for scheduling an undefeated season. the big east should be div 2.

The Big East is better than the ACC and Big 12 this year. Obviously the SEC and Big 10 are still much better conferences, but the Big East isn't a joke anymore. Saying it should be div 2 is just ignorant.

There should be a playoff though.

That's what all of the talking heads are saying, and it's dumb. Louisville's main argument for going to the NC game will be this win over WVU. The problem is this WVU team is and was COMPLETELY overrated. WVU has beaten Marshall, Eastern Washington, Maryland, East Carolina, Mississippi State, Syracuse and Connecticut. Wow...what a tough schedule

Even Louisville who beat this undeserving #3 WVU team had only beaten 1 ranked team on their schedule (Miami who was ranked #17 at the time and is currently unranked).

Both team's schedules don't compare at all to a schedule of Michigan, OSU, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, Arkansas, and even USC or Cal.

I hope Rutgers can pull out a win next week because it'd be ridiculous to have a team from this conference with these schedules to take the place of any of the above mentioned teams.

Its not ridiculous, an undefeated Louisville will deserve an NC berth over all those teams, but the Michigan/OSU winner, a 1-loss SEC champion (probably Florida), and maybe a one loss Cal.

Take off LSU that list, LSU has two losses and hasn't beaten anyone of relevance. Who has LSU beat that is a quality team? Nobody. They've beaten La.-Lafayette, Arizona, Tulane, Mississippi St., Kentucky and Fresno St. and they played them all at home. That's real impressive.

Auburn, Florida, Tennessee and Arkansas have played exactly 2 teams out of conference who were good. Tennessee whipped California and Arkansas got whipped by USC. Florida and Auburn haven't played anybody out of their own conference so we can only judge them on how they did against Tennessee and Arkansas. So how good is the SEC this year? They generally avoid tough out of conference games like the plague. Their champion lost to West Virginia last year.

However, I agree that an undefeated Big East shouldn't get in the NC over a one loss SEC team, but if the SEC winner has more than one loss they shouldn't be in the NC game. If Arkansas wins out they should be to the NC, but that won't happen. Arkansas has only beaten one good team right now anyways. Whichever team among Florida, Tennessee, and Auburn wins the SEC should go to the NC if they have one loss.

If Cal has one loss they might deserve a NC bid also, but USC lost to the Beavers and putting them on that list is ridiculous when they might have 3 or 4 losses this year. I don't think the loser of the Michigan/OSU game should be in the NC because it would be incredibly lame to have a rematch of a game played at the end of the season.
