Seriously? If I were him, I'd put one of those teeth in an envelope, send it out, and call it a day.

$5000??? He probably wipes his ass with that kind of money.

Fined for what?

Having ocho cinco stitched over his name on his jersey

Didn't he remove that before the game started?

That is lame. :shake:

That is lame.

Guys come out before warmups all the time with thier jerseys out and their socks down, and the uniform police (from what I understand) let one of the coaches know what guys need to do before the game starts.

I don't see what the big deal is.

Things like this remind me of that scene in Remember The Titans:

"Is football fun to you?"

"Zero fun, sir"

Hmm... all that during warm-ups? He didn't play an actual down with that Ocho Cinco attached to his jersey didn't he?

Ah well, the NFL has became a facist league anyways, that's for sure.

It's okay for the commish to ignore horrible game altering officiating errors, but damn you if you have fun.

( I believe Palmer ripped off the Ocho Cinco nameplate before Johnson stepped on the field for a regular down).

Actually, the correct translation is ochenta cinco for the number eighty five.

Ocho Cinco works if he's breaking up the numbers eight-five.

Sorry, I just had to nitpick.......

Actually, they are fining him because Chad couldn't get the Spanish right, remember the NFL is trying to attract the Mexican market. The NFL really wanted to fine him 5,000 pesos but 5,000 pesos works out to .000001 cent.

I thought it was, "Yes, I love to be rammed from behind by other men", which explains why Phobia talks with a french accent......

I had a friend once that got into an argument with a cop about a smoking violation and in the end was fined. He paid the fine in person (as allowed by law) with a big bag of pennies (that actually was the correct fine amount) and a few hundred Canadian pennies mixed in. They tried to tell him they wouldn't take it and he handed them a circled law that said basically if a government agency ever refuses to accept American Currency to settle a debt it is the same as them saying you owe them no debt.

I lost $20 on a bet that he wouldn't do it... but it was money well spent just to watch it happen.

That's how this fine should be paid.

That would be fun to do to the IRS.

I wonder if that would work with my season ticket payment next year? :hmmm:
