And St. Joe tomorrow!

I've seen him a bunch, and he always puts on a good show. I'd like to go tonight, but I have 2 basketball games back to back tonight starting in about an hour. I am going to be dead after those, damn Halloween. :cuss:

got the cd... been listening to it when I should be studying/writing... good sh*t so far... good beats, creative lyrics in a few places, same typical bullet fast delivery that tech's become known for

The producers have really stepped it up with the beats on this album. Plenty still retain that dark feel to them that Tech's music is known for, but there is the unmistakable influence of the Bay Area Hyphy scene.

definately--it definately is an evolution to his sound--his stuff is now more predominantly club jumping stuff due to the beats, but if you listen REALLY close to the lyrics, there's the same edge he always had--the edge that makes anghellic my favorite tech album

i have seen em a bunch of times. Even mixed it up a lil with the boys on his crew. It will be interesting to see what goes down when he sees the felix bad boys here in joetown

My cluster of really good friends has a de facto theme song. "I'm a playa".

Picked it up yesterday after work. Have made it one full time through. On the way to work this morning heard "The Rain" and 'bout shit when his daughter started rapping.

I like it for the most part, but so far I'm not really feeling "Bout to Bubble" and "Come Gangster". The hooks just annoy the crap out of me. Best term I think I can use here is "over-produced". Perhaps they'll grow on me, though.

Nice to have another new CD from him after all these years.. .but, honestly, I think I'm looking forward to new stuff from Kutt at this point more than I was looking forward to this album.

I wouldn't flatter yourself none. What I'm showing is an unhealthy interest in you shutting the **** up and going the **** away.

I hella agree on Bout Ta Bubble. In fact, this whole album is a move toward more commerical success. He deserves it, but sometimes the album doesn't feel as unique as his previous work.

I like Riotmaker... and the sample on "No Can Do" is sweet.

I've been exploring the "Strange Music Library" sampler CD that comes with Everready, and there are some choice cuts there. Big Krizz's "The Need" is nice.

But Tech's song "In My Head," which was a late cut from the album, is really ****ing good. That should have been on the album; incredible track.

There is also a track by "Kabosh," which is a rap/rock project from Tech and Krizz. Big Krizz sings on the songs, and the track named "Little Pills" on the sampler is great.
