Heh, should've title it Nebraska thrashing Mizzou. INT Nebraska.

I think this thread suffers from a faulty premise.Damn it, Pinkel! :cuss:

Like I said last week, we don't have a chance in the world of winning today.

Very ugly so far.

You know, when you only have 2 running plays, it's only a matter of time before people figure out how to stop your offense. Bob Dole believes Mizzou's playbook fits on one 8.5x11 sheet of paper.

No, but I'm a REAListic fan.

ANd Pinkel still gets confused as to which plays to call.

Wow. Some positive yards.

Too bad Alexander looked like he was running underwater.

I can't get excited about this game after NU lost to Oklahoma State last week. The Huskers just aren't very good. NU will probably end the season with five or six losses.

Both Nebraska and Missouri are done. I don't care what the score is. A Nebraska win means they play better at home. The home team was going to win this game all along. That's what happens when these teams play each other.

Missouri needs to find a RB if they expect to thrash people....

Damn it, Pinkel! :cuss:

Is that quote from patteau from another thread?

I don't see his post in this thread.

That compelled me to go to my buddy/ignore list to find out if I had accidently put him on ignore somehow, though I don't know how.

I have never even gone to there.
I've never put anyone on ignore, or my buddy list.

Which leads me to another question.

Who's the smartass mod that added QockSlurper to my buddy list?

A Nebraska win doesn't mean much. I'm not looking forward to playing A&M next week. Nebraska has to beat Texas or USC to gain respect. I doubt they beat Texas at Arrowhead next month. Texas and USC are back on the schedule next year.

Yippee. Another tipped pass.

Is Chase Daniel 5'8" or something?

Bob Dole

At least Bob Dole can leave early for Shreveport without feeling that he's missing much.

Great job, Tiggers.

Wonder where Fraz is today. Last weeks gutter beating too much for him?

Sam Hall

I think the announcers have botched four or five names so far. They confused Terrance Nunn with Terrance Newman :)

Yes, it is. Sorry to confuse you like that.

The game's not being televised here, and I'm sure as hell not paying another $20 to DTV to watch them after last week's disaster. We're also leaving in about 10 minutes to have lunch with the in-laws.

I certainly hope they pull it out, but the faith meter is pegged out at about zero right now. I figured they'd get crushed and BIG SHOCK they're getting crushed.

I assume the next televised Tigers game I get to watch will be them hosting NoWhere State in the whogivesashit.com bowl. :shake:

I think you give Pinkel too much credit. He probably passed out post-it notes with all the plays.

WOW! A 54 yard FG for Mizzou's kicker!

That maybe the only thing we do all game, but it was impressive.

Every Saturday I go to espn.com there's something about a Michigan upset watch or scare... granted they aren't blowing anyone out, it's funny that espn is chomping at the bit waiting for the yearly "how the hell did we lose to [team]" game.

Pinkel is down 34-13 in the 4th and he's running the ball and throwing short dinks.

PastorMikH
11-04-2006, 12:36 PM
All of the defenders are within 10 yards of the LOS and they aren't even trying the deep ball.

Pinkel is getting players, but he sure can't coach a game.

I can't see the game, but the stats are relatively close (aside from the most important stat, the score.) Turnovers really kill this team.

PastorMikH

Daniel looked down and that ball looked like it bounced off the turf. Missouri will be in another 4th and long as soon as the replay is over.

Bob Dole sure can't argue with that assessment. Some really poor playcalling in the 4th quarter.

Well, judging by the way this thread fell off with no mention of anything after the 34-14 score, I assume Missouri got stomped. So congratulations to Nebraska.

You get the honor of getting stomped by Texas at Arrowhead next month. :thumb:

Not so fast! Callahan is yet to beat a south division team besides Baylor, and we don't play well on the road either. Very likely L for us next week. Colorado is always a thorn in our side as well, regardless of their record.

A&M could still win the south too.

I don't want to bad mouth the MUrons but they surely don't have much offense. As best I can see they have no WR's and very little running game. If a team just contains the two TE's and Daniels scrambling that should do it.

I've heard the Cotton Bowl wants Nebraska. Sure would be nice if A&M beat Texas in a couple weeks. I'd like Nebraska's chances against A&M at Arrowhead.

With KU as a common opponent, I would say it is a tossup. KU dominated both of them throughout both games while losing both at the end.

Yeah, what's up with that?

Last week: 2nd and goal from the one yard line - 3 straight plays out of the spread shotgun.

This week: 4th and inches - spread shotgun (no RB).

Brilliant coaching Pinkel.:whackit:

LMAO If you don't win, you didn't dominate the game.
