2-hand touch... You have flags?

I can probably get my hands on some. 6 blue and 6 yellow. I have orange cones, so we can actually make it look a little more "official".

Phobia
11-07-2006, 04:21 PM
We usually have cones but we've never had flags. 6 of each should work, but bring 8 if you can muster it. I think our largest turnout was 12 on 12. Obviously linemen don't need flags but sometimes we rotate line duties for WR. It would be tough to keep changing belts.

closest outdoors would be:
Raytown 59th & Lane Coleman park.
Lee's Summit Douglas & Chipman Leigh McKeegan park

They also play behind the Springvalley elementary school on 83rd str. Mostly teenagers & lil kids though.

I've been trying to get people to play basketball on Thursday nights (indoors, full court, and free) few offers. Sedated has come a coupla times though.

Ditto here. Mine is a Wilson NFL football, almost similar to the game balls the Pro's use. Might need a little more air, but still functionable ball to use as for now. Anyone got an air pump?

And count me in, will be there on Saturday. How do I get to the destinated area from OP? Take I-435 to I-470?

470 Raytown Road exit.
Head North to 83rd street.
Head East on 83rd.
You'll run right into the school on left hand side about 1 mile up.

Come to the left and behind the school.

ok i have a question about white and black shirts are we still doing that. Because it is cold so it might be sweatshirts, my question is are we still doing the white and black shirt thing?

I went outside for a bit this morning, and it's not that bad out there. Thankfully the wind isn't an issue like it was yesterday.

I believe we'll be doing the black and white, since some of us guys haven't meet some guys, like for me, I have met Phobia before, but the rest of the guys, haven't met them before IIRC. So it's a good way to identify who's on who's team.

It was well worth it, going to a toy auction and no one there knew anything about Star Wars when it came to some no namer called Commander Jorg Sacul. I had some asshat run the price up to $35 bucks on me, otherwise I would have gotten him for $7.50. It wasnt until I had it in my hand and one of the auctioneers asked who that I was and I told them it was the George Lucas character. No one believed me until I told them to check out the last name and its Lucas spelled backwards. Classic and Priceless moment. On Ebay this one in particular goes for $170-250. But I may just keep him and sell all the other stuff I picked up.

Redrum picks a toy auction over an afternoon of football with the guys and it's compounded with the discovery he's into the Star Trek toys. Wow. I don't think I've been quite this disappointed since I met his mother online. She reminded me of the planet Earth. She was large, round, covered in 1/3rd dirt, and 2/3rds sweat.

It's no wonder he turned out to be a peter puffer.

Wrong...I buy cheap and sell high.
High :bong: and cheap, reminds me of your mom.

Since you had to quit playing when it got dark, how about starting an hour early at noon?

I wish. We're part of a big Toys For Tots thing in Blue Springs. The USMC is taking on the KC All-Stars. We play during intermission for 15 minutes and then we'll take our game outside the stadium for a couple hours.

FYI, Noobia...Lucas made Star Wars...not Star Trek

Youre all talk now. I seen most of the people there when I drove up. I can already tell its a bunch of Al Bundy's out there that cant get out of high school mode. I'm surprised you guys were able to get clearance from the nursing home to go play football....

Star Wars - Star Trek - It's all the same to people who have actually seen a woman naked.

YOu're right...I'm not sure what to classify your mom as....maybe the missing link?

Roger said yes. I have a charity flag football game for Toys For Tots at the same time. Warpaint vs. Coalition I'm looking for a couple ringers. The dudes in spandex weren't enough?

I've bought a trophy to give out to the winner of the Flag Football death match. The winner gets to keep the trophy until they are ready to put it on the line again against another Chiefs fan BB in a FF match. The trophy will stay with the winner of the games.

I would expect that the winner of the Coalition vs. Warpaint FF game will put the trophy on the line against the Planet FF team for Chiefs fan BB Flag Football Championship not to mention some serious braggin rights. I would assume that a pic would go up on the website of the victors showcasing their athletic superiority over the vanquished heathren hordes.

Dude, you remind me of a teenager going through puberty.
Why everytime you say you're coming you say you didn't want to be the only fat chick out there? We're all fat, old, and out of shape. We have O & D-lines for the fat people. Yes I was on the line for a spell.

Come out and enjoy yourself and worry abouty our weight another time. IT'S FOOTBALL.

I still want to know how Brad is. I'm worried about that guy. He had a much bigger mouth than his body could back up.

Dude, I don't give a damn how I look... are you nuts?

I give a damn about getting my big ass run by all day, while I stand and watch... that's all.

When I played it was the little wiry ****ers who were on the line, blowing past me (except DLane). If I had big guys to go up against... I'd have a lot more fun... that's the only reason I'm asking. I'm not trying to impress you guys.

Why are we even discussing this? You won't show up anyway. You were a one-timer. You got whooped and now you're scared. And you're gay. You should really tell your fiance about all the older men.

You're right.

Honestly, though, I really do wish I had come out. Every time this has been planned, something different has come up, and every time, the priority has been on the other thing.

I love to play, and I love to meet new folks... so it's not a matter of not wanting to... it has just turned out that way.

If it's Sunday this week, I can't make it. Make it Saturday again and I'm in. Possibly bring my nephew again.
