Based on cdcox's updated information with the Jets now holding a tiebreaker over us, it is very extremely possible we could go 11-5 and not make the playoffs.

Only the Chiefs...

The Jets will drop at least two more games. If we go 11-5 we are in.

Although it's more likely we go 9-7 or 10-6 than 11-5 remember this is the Chiefs with road games left.....

Next year we go 12-4 and miss the playoffs!

Eventually we will go 16-0 and miss the playoffs!

And then one day...we will finish 7-9...AND WIN IT ALL!

3 road games at Cleveland, San Diego, and Oakland. I like our chances in 2 out of the 3.

IF we go 11-5, the chance is very small, less than 2%. I've got more to worry about than this distant, remote possiblity. It is a mathematical curiosity.

Oh, this team has at least two eggs left in it. I figure we lose an abysmal game at Cleveland and get eviscerated at San Diego. That leaves us at 10-6 if we win out at home. I'm not taking the Denver game as the certainty that everyone else is, especially given our penchant to shrink from the limelight in recent years.

Cleveland is as bad as Oakland. I still think the only remaining game we lose is in San Diego.

Cleveland is so bad they beat Atlanta on the road something I seriously doubt the Chiefs could do....

I think if both KC and Cleveland played 10 consecutive games at Atlanta, we would win more than the Browns. That win today was a fluke, same with the Texans win, although they HAVE swept the Jags this year

Jags always lose to the Texans.....happens every year.

Are they as bad as Miami?

Yep! If there's a way the Chiefs will find it.

ROFLROFL
you said 11-5 ROFL

This team will be 8-8.

They have won, 1 AFC game. They have been beaten by two 2-6 teams and a 4-5 team.

The games they have won are against the NFCW. One team in the NFCW is above .500, the rest not. The other win against SD. After yesteday's game, I am hopeful they can win at least 3 more, but I don't think there are that many NFC teams on the schedule.
