Worlds Smallest Political Quiz (http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html)

Here is a fun quiz that takes only a second. I scored squarely in the Libertarian camp. Fun waste of time.

Everyone scores as a Libertarian on this quiz, even me.

That's what it's designed to do.

banyon nailed it. No one noticed all the "so who are libertarians" "for more info on libertarians" etc. links?

Not me, I'm a conservative.

40% personal, 90% economic.

I'm the EVIL one around here I guess.

Duh, but it is still fun and it does try to communicate some of the foundational beliefs of the party. Did you try to answer questions such that it comes up anything else? To your point you have to really be wacked out to score anything other than Libertarian. I'm curios if anyone will not score Libertarian.

Go to www.politicalcompass.org

It's a longer, better test and it plots you against historical figures. Far better, IMO.

I couldn't get the short quiz to load, but political compass didn't exactly surprise me.

Personal 90%

Voted "maybe" on National ID card because I think we do need a way to manage our borders. A passport for anyone who wants to leave and later return would suffice.

Economic 90%

Voted "maybe" on removing government barriers to free trade only because I'm not confident that doing so unilaterally would be feasible. It should be the goal though.

Just for s***s and giggles,

I was

Personal 90% Economic 50% for "Left-Libertarian".

It said I fell exactly on the border.

I know this test is a little cheesy so I'm a little surprised that the scores relative to each other really do seem to be following the personalities on this BB.

LIBERTARIAN

Personal 80%
Economic 100%

IMO the test is too short but is better than the longer test put up by Hamas.
I thought the longer test asked mostly left-libertarian questions. It's choices were mostly either/or for liberal or conservative with little in between. I would have chosen maybe on more of these as a result. But I was "foced" to choose so I came up somewhat statist. LOL!

I've done these tests regularly...and I have scored as low as 60% on personal as low as 90% on economic. It just depends on the questions asked.

WTF? It says we are all libertarians and basically belong to the same party. That's not how this forum is aligned.

I agree. I've seen similar results by others on other BB's. Everyone's a libertarian. Most people aren't or only moderately so. Then the same people who claim to be 90% libertarian on economic go on and support things like minimum wage or NAFTA! LOL!

Yeah, it is a site that trys to promote Libertarian ideals, but it is still a fun site to see how people score. It is interesting that people are scoring about what I expect.

The more government grows the more Libertarian I become although I have a conservative leaning. I think it would be good for this country if more people voted Libertarian because then the ideals would find their way into the general debates.

See now I don't agree that that is centrist at all. It's liberal. By that I mean left liberal—not classical liberal.

Most independents can be placed left or right on the scale just by hearing them talk. Being an I does not gaurantee one to be a centrist.

Only if you're a female Hindu centrist. Male Hindu centrists don't wear dots. At least, that what Carlos Mencia says.

CENTRIST CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding governmentcontrol of the economy and personal behavior. Depending onthe issue, they sometimes favor government interventionand sometimes support individual freedom of choice.Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize whatthey describe as "practical" solutions to problems
