Jon Gruden is demanding that the NFL fine Tony Siragusa for a cheap shot. Tony Siragusa informed "Chuckie" Gruden that the NFL "aint the WWF."

I'm sure he was saying the same things to his players when they took out QB's this season...

I thought it was a pretty lousy body slam myself, but the results worked rather nicely! Give'm a 8 on it! :D

It is funny that none of the Raider's offensive linemen retaliated during the game. I am sure that they saw the hit once they came to the sideline, or at least were informed by Rich or the coaching staff that the hit was a cheap shot.

Maybe the B-Mores front intimidated the Raider's line?

I thought Siragoosa's response was "This ain't tennis"

I have seen cheaper shots in the league. And lets face it, they were playing for the title, anything goes. Now if it had happened to Grbac, I might think differently. Personally, I liked it.

It just looked like a punishing tackle to Bob Dole.

Chuckie, I mean Gruden is a cry baby. It's the NFL stupid and people get hit and people get hurt. He needs to stop crying in his beer and get on with it.

Oakland. What a bunch of crybabies. Glad a real team is playing the Giants in two weeks...

It was fun playing in Oakland. Those fans! We knew that they had some crazy fans, but weíre also aware that they didnít sell out their first postseason game, that their stadium was only halfway sold out, so we knew that they had fair-weather fans, and once we dominated them on defense, we would shut them up. And thatís exactly what happened. The sack I had on Rich Gannon, it was the "Here We Are" play, the "Here We Are to Destroy Your Offense" play.

This is the guy that coaches Regan Upshaw every week, right?

Now there's a guy who knows about cheap shots!

~~Believes that the Raiders calling someone on a cheap shot makes as much sense as Bill Gates b!tching about someone making too much money.

They fined TONY 17.500.00 .....this is pathetic! Why tackle a football player only to get fined!

I can't cut and paste on this at work,it's on CBS Sportsline.

Man ..this sucks! Why play football if you get fined! I didn't think anything wrong about the tackle/hit,etc. No flags were threw on the play !

Bad fine... I'm sick of the NFL protecting QB's... Defensive players are taught to tackle through players....

I didn't particularly care for the Goose blimp wearing shades on the sideline mugging for the camera though... Have some professional courtesy...

Like DRuss said, and I rarely agree with DRuss except when it comes to Peyton Manning, the outdated music at Arrowhead, and this, but the QB's get every little rule and benefit given to them, so when you have a shot at an offensive player, might as well make it count...
