I am planning on attending a Thanksgiving Dinner at a friend's house. They do not have any sort of cable- just your basic antenna set-up. Will the Denver @ KC game be shown on local TV, or does the NFL network have exclusive rights?

How can you not have NFL Network? This is Freaking 2006! By a Dish or something, Cable sucks ass.. Direct TV is the way to go....

D-tv since 1998 and never one problem. Never missed a chiefs game either.

Game will be on a local Channel only in the Denver and KC local areas. You live outside of those areas, you will need access to NFL Network or you will be SOL.

Some of us think DirecTv sucks ass, plus it's more expensive than cable.

You sure about that? I have basic cable and its more expensive than my parent's DirectTV and they have 5 receivers and HD package.

I pay $33/mo for my cable. I can't touch DirecTv for that kind of money.

I have DTV and NFL network. I am spending TGiving in the mountains where NFLN is not offered on cable.

I found a free dish on Craigslist and am driving it up to catch the game. I can use my old receiver and pay 4.99 to add it as an extra room.

The house that we are staying in is built next to a 100' cliff. If the dish can't pull in the southwestern sky (where the cliff is located) then we are paying my cousin to be the designated driver and heading to the sports bar.

Why did they have to pick this game to broadcast on NFLN?
