Little bit of rust, horrible OL, no Gonzalez and a solid opposing defense.

LJ will go off, though. 30+ carries, in all likelihood.

:hmmm:

Or just realistic?

180 yards - Raiders don't allow a bunch more than this per game.

0 TDs - We're a running team. How many did Green throw pre-coconut-getting-smashed?

1 INT - You seen Oakland's DBs? They make plays on the ball.

4 sacks - OL's fault, not Green's.

1 fumble - Tough to hold onto it getting jacked up as many times as our QB has been/will be.

Edit: only thing that's "negative" is the lack of TDs, but I believe LJ gets those touches and scores. Trent hasn't been a major TD force for years.

Green hasnt played a whole game since January. I fully expect him to be rusty.

What a dipshit. Trent has thrown over 100 TDs in KC.

Given all the injuries, and Oakland's inability to move the ball, we're not going to throw very much. I'm not worried about Trent being rusty. He'll play fine, but his numbers will be very modest.

We can get by Oakland playing not to lose, which is what we'll do. That probably won't work against Denver, though.

I agree with this + a turnover, either fumble or INT.

Raiders pass D is so high cause they're usually behind and people just grind out the clock.

Despite this, their D can't just be ignored, they do make plays when presented the opportunity.

It's up to our D to not make whichever QB takes the snaps look like the 2nd coming of Gannon.

it's gonna be a LJ first half. Why? Because Trent goes out in first quarter(head injury) he'll b out for season. LJ runs for 46 yards and a TD.

Second quarter, Damon Huard gets his shoulder f**ked up, he's out for 2-4 weeks. LJ gets 25 yards and a TD thanks to an amazing will shields block.
--halftime it's 14-13.

Third Quarter, Brodie croyle 101 yards and 2 TDs. 8/8. LJ gets 13 yards on only a couple of carries.

Fourth Quarter Croyle gets plenty more yards and and touchdown.

Croyle has huge day and is our new quarterback.

hooray.

Ill start:

202 yards passing, 2 TD's 1 INT. 0 fumbles.I would guess that to be pretty close. Maybe less than 200 yards as he shakes off the rust with no Tony G.

Soooooo, being in the top 10 all those years just isnt force-worthy huh???

And i guess the incredible running game we've had all those years doesnt take a few TD's from him every season???

Uh, no. He never led. He never came close. He was never a force. However, he was VERY consistent, and that's what makes him a great QB. He isn't up one year and down the next.

:hmmm:

No shit, genius.

And if you'd take a look at every other post I make, it's with the clear notion that LJ is THE reason I don't see Green lighting it up.

Yes, Holmes and LJ took away TDs. Well done. And that's what I see happening again today (check out the Raiders' run and pass defense rankings).

Any time a team or individual consistently places in the top 10 in any statistical category, they are a force by any common sense definition.
