He's been tearing up the Mexican Pacific League, and threw a perfect game tonight. Sweet.

Hopefully he can be a lights out 7th-8th inning guy for us out of the pen this season, since we have to keep him on the major league team per Rule 5, err, rules.

He could be like Sisco was for us in '04, except with actual control, maybe better. Then some AAA seasoning the next season as a starter. It'd be a miracle if this guy turned out to be some sort of poor man's Johan Santana (also a Rule 5 pickup). We need a lucky break like this.

I don't care what level it was, you don't see many perfect games anywhere unless it's an eighteen year old thowing against 12 years olds in the little league world series.

BTW, there was one current major leaguer and one former major leaguer in the opposing team's line up.

He cost us all of $50K and people are still making fun of the Royals.
