1st down - run
2nd down- run
3rd down- pass

run, run, pass. This offense showed today that they are bland and boring and so ****ing predictable.

P.S. Do we have any trick plays besides the hall reverse??

Yea. I think everygame this year we have started out with a run on our first possesion which usually is followed up by another run. thats how herm wants to play. And it works if the RB picks up 5 yards per carry.

No. We have a few trick plays I'm sure, but it takes sack to call them. We don't have a sack.

We have a BAG that the fans should be wearing on their heads.

Thats great, first possesion especially with LJ back there. But when he's continually running inot a wall of Raven's defenders and we're losing the game, ya think we might mix it up a bit, no?

In the 2nd half, prior to the last-gasp drive when it was 20-3, we ran 8 first-down plays. 7 of them were runs. 4 of them were for 2 yards or less.

We ran 7 plays on 2nd down. 5 were runs. 3 gained 1 or fewer yards.

We faced 6 3rd downs. The shortest was 4 yards to go. Two were 6, one was 8, one was 10 and one was 15.

Im not disagreeing with the playcalling being bad. Solari needs to be able to change it up when somethings not working.

Instead of ranting on every thread, I'll try to keep it all in one. What about Green and his lack of mobility?? I understand he got creamed, knocked unconscious and ultimately taken out of the first part of the season. I know it was ugly, I was there... and you'd think he would be hesitant to run with the ball after that play... but it seems to me that he is opting to take a sack or throw a wussy-ass pass rather than stepping up and scrambling for some yardage.

Hermie Ball is a recipe for success...

That is why NYJ ran him out of town....

His act wore thin up there and less than on season, it is wore out in KC.....

And in the end, just when she can either take you home or leave you wanting more, she leaves your ass hoping for another chance next time around. Cheers to a season of ups and downs and way too much teasing along the way. Makes your confidence levels sink lower and lower.

Along with lack of mobility, he held th ball for forever. I kept thiking "How long is it gonna take him to find his man?" I don't think our O-line was the greatest today, but they can only hold off defenders for so long.

Green has lost a step. He was off target on several passes today. This is what you get for putting in a QB who hasnt played since week 1 into a situation where your in the hunt for the playoffs. With all the games hes played this season the only game hes looked good in was against a horrible browns defense that was putting 8-9 men in the box to stop the run, thus giveing him the passing lanes. One thing ive noticed is Trent Green doesnt look Tony Gs way nearly enough either. The problem is we're not using our playmakers on offense like we did with haurd in. I think its time to put Croyle in, along with other young players in certain positions. Its time to get the future kick started by putting in the young players.

So. for each series of downs:

1: RPP
2.RPP
3.RRP
4.RRP
5.PRP
6.RRR
7.RRP
8.RPP
9.PPP (end of half)

10.RRP
11.RRP
12.PRP
13.RRP
14.RRP
15.RRP
16.RPP
17.PPP
18.PP
19.PP

So we ran on first down all but 2 sets of downs unless we were in panic mode at the end of half.

Lots of RRP. I agree KCChiefsQT.

Boring? BORING? We had the ball on offense for more than 26 minutes today. 26 minutes. Closer to 27 than to 26. BORING? We passed the ball 27 times. That about one pass per minute. One pass every 60 seconds. Boring? BORING? We don't play the game to entertain the fans. We play, the game, to win. We're just not getting it done.

he doesn't really have the arm strength to throw an accurate pass unless his feet are perfect.

There's a reason we were running.

Did none of you see the stretch of turnovers? In a series 4 drop-backs, we had a sack/fumble, two INTs, and a single completion.

INT
Completion
Sack/Fumble
INT

You actually wanted more of that?

The simple truth is we are weak on the line on both sides of the ball, and it limits what we can do successfully.

Pretty much if you screw up Green's feet he'll throw the inaccurate flutter ball that gets picked off.

Also Drew Bledsoe can throw a dart flat flooted without moving his feet he has a very strong arm......Green not so much. They're both pretty immobile they have that in common.

the problem with the cheifs offense is that it has become to predictable to their opponents. Thats one reason why we turned the ball over today. If we run two times in a row and pass the third time good defenses like the ravens usally can pick up on it. They know what type of defense they need to play in order to force a sack or interception. A few of those INTs were greens fault. Just bad throws that were off their mark and usually into coverage playing right into the defenses hands. It was nothing more then the ravens doing there homework knowing what to expect out of the chiefs offense. At the beginning of the game where we got the ball first and marched down field we did alot of good things on offense that confused the ravens. Once we got away from that we started stalling and fast.
