What are your top 5 CD's you would want with you if you were stranded on an island? I have the flu and I'm bored as hell so humor me.

Mine would be:

1. "Time Well Wasted" -Brad Paisley
2. "Enjoy the Ride" -Sugarland
3. "No Fences" -Garth Brooks
4. "Here in the Real World" -Alan Jackson
5. "Number 1's" -Reba McEntire

Plug in your cd player to what?

In no particular order -

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Greatest Hits
Boyz II Men - II
Evanescence - Fallen
The Judds - Greatest Hits
DMX - ...And Then There Was X

Gotta have variety. I'd go insane listening to the same genre day in and day out.

The Judds - Greatest Hits

Whoa, I didn't even think about that one, Luv. I couldn't be without the Judds for long. Nice choice. And The Eagles greatest hits would be hard to live without, too, Laz. Also nice choice.

And to Fairplay, this thread is for music lovers so we couldn't care less what you have to say about our choices.

I hope compilations are accepted. These are some of the 'albums' in my collection that have withstood the test of time. I can pull them out and enjoy them year after year.

Paul Simon, Love Songs and Negotiations
The Best of Van Morrison
John Coltrane, A Love Supreme
Howlin' Wolf, Howlin' Wolf
Beethoven: Symphonien Nos. 5 & 7 / Kleiber, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra

I'd be dissapointed without the rest, but I could live with this.
