I know that the Royals' interest in bringing back Suppan was mentioned here a few weeks ago, but today's news reinforces previous suspicions.
How much do we think he would cost?

NOOOOOOOOOO! Suppan sucks ass in the AL. He led the league with HR's allowed when pitching for us last time.

The guy's a great big-game pitcher. But he doesn't have the same kind of focus during the regular season.
I think the Cardinals are offering 3 years, $21 mil. I think he'll end up getting 4 years, $40 mil, and he'll be about as successful as Matt Morris was after leaving St. Louis.

Suppan has run his course in STL. Cracks are starting to show up.
Even more reason the Royals should look at him again.

Please God, no. All the Royals need is another pitcher with a 5.00 ERA that strikes out 2 batters per game. We've already got a staff full of those guys.
