How to stop Rivers, get him pissed off. He gets waaaaay too emotional and it hurts him. So hit him early and often and force him into some incompletions. That might hurt him in the playoffs. What he was doing tonight looked like a frustrated QB who is easily rattled,.

Nobody stops LT. We're just like every other team that he has bitchslapped this season. I knew he'd get his yards tonight...

And yet this team still finds a way to lose a game they had to win. They can't win must win games, period.

Im sure Bolt fans were having flashbacks to Ryan Leaf on that one shot of Rivers that NBC cameras caught of him coming off the field.

Its funny, Rivers even somewhat resembles Leaf in the face.

Looking back, previously that held true.. Without the defensive retardation on the 85yard LT was held in check for the most part...

Defense just gave up and made stupid mistakes that cost them.. Would have been interesting to see how well they would have done if they continuesly put 8 and 9 in the box every down and held contain to stop LT from the start with as poorly as Rivers was throwing..

Oh well woulda shoulda...

Doesn't Rivers even have the same jersey number as Leaf?

Marty won't get past the first round.

Rivers is a crybaby that is going to kill them in the Playoffs. When your two starting WR's have Zero Td's that should tell you something.

The Chiefs do, about 50% of the time they play him.

Here are some stats from his previous encounters with KC:

Year - Rush Yds / Rec Yds / Total TDs

2001 - 31/20/1
2001 - 145/11/0

2002 - 78/78/1
2002 - 131/26/0

2003 - 34/27/0
2003 - 106/17/1

2004 - 46/57/2
2004 - DNP

2005 - 69/23/0
2005 - 47/18/0

2006 - 66/72/1

Admittedly, his combined yardage has usually been pretty decent, but considering what a large part of the San Diego offense LT is, there are several good Chiefs defensive efforts on that list. Last night was only LT's fourth 100 yard rushing game against the Chiefs in 6 years and only his second 2 TD game.
