Don't think about the position you'd like to play, but rather the mentality of people who play that position. Which best matches you?

QB - I'm an engineer, so I'm analytical. PLUS I'm 6'4" 230 lbs. - the NFL prototype QB.

OC. I would like to call run, run, pass and see our antelopes get clobbered just for the amusement.

Then, the next series, I call run, run, pass again. I can just see the look on the guys' faces in the huddle!! No!! Not that again!! HAHAHA.

Yep, that's the call. Go get 'em guys! That's what I'd say. HOHOHO!!

Is this that dry British humor?

I've often heard that kicker is like a Club Med position.

Also an engineer, but not the typical QB size. 6'3", 260. guess I could be LB, but i'm not fast enough for that. Oh wait, Kendrell is still a starting LB in the NFL. I'm in.

I played DE/OLB back in my HS/college days, but I think my persoality is more along the lines of a DT.

I have, at times, what I like to call the "Lenny Effect." This is a term I have created for myself and others like me based ont he character Lenny from "Of Mice and Men." Many times, in an everyday situation when something isn't going right, I will panic and just try harder instead of smarter, trying to outbrawn a problem. Oddly, though, in extremely stressful situations, I am the opposite.

I'm going by my work personality here.

I'd be a TE. I spend most of my time blocking off the retarded questions and then occasionally I'll get thrown the ball to run with the way I want to... occasionally.

I think I'm kind of a cornerback, because I pretty much live my life on an island watching people, rather than being in the middle of things pushing and shoving and stuff. I've also got a little bit of kicker in me, too, because I'd usually rather just handle stuff myself rather than be a part of a group or team.

Punter. A necessary position, but definitely doesn't have to be clutch like a place-kicker.

Plus, when the sh*t goes down, you can always close your eyes real hard and toss the ball away from you like an old woman giving up her purse to a robber, while it goes all the way back for a TD. And no one will think less of you.

I'm a offensive tackle. I'm more the strong and silent type, and my looks are deceiving in terms of my ability. Also, I work at a position where all my mistakes are blown up by my critics. When all is said and done though, I'm smart about how the entire play works and how my role fits into it all.

That's a good analogy. In your profession and the tackle profession, I would imagine that the only time your name gets called is after a mistake.

FB-The unheralded cog that makes a good offense click. Like doin the dirty work and enjoy the anonymity that a good fullback can have.

A little off topic......Has anyone here taken "the color matrix"?

Basically, each personality type has one of 4 colors, and some smatterings of others. Its supposed to teach you how to "deal with Orange/green/gold/blue"

i would totally be a punter. not much to do but you got to do it well. Plus, it seems like you get a nice paycheck for doing jack crap. Ideally, though I would love to be a WR I like making quick moves and I can really focus in on catching that ball. Nothing else matters, you just have to catch that ball. TO and samie parker are you taking notes.

I'd have to go with a FB, my tackle skills are lacking, but I have always been hard to bring down. I could live with a few carries and some catches out in the flat, and I would still get to hit some people.

Just kind of goes with my quiet personality, dragging things along, etc, etc.
