Stats will mess you up and give you hope. Its the same crapy hope that keeps you coming back for more every year untill one day you look back and realize that in the past 15 years of looking at stats the Chiefs never won a Super Bowl. Stats are worthless and give 0 insite for the future.

I don't know what he would recommend, but I'd recommend looking at playoff appearences, playof wins and SB appearences.

Those numbers over the last 18 years are pretty pathetic.

Ok. There may be somebody somewhere that wasn't aware of that, I guess.

Ummm playoff appearences don't mean crap. Even winning a single Super Bowl does't mean crap because everybody in a couple years won't even be able to remember who won the Super Bowl the year before last right off the top of their head. What we need is for the Chiefs to come in and smash everybody for 5 years straight winning the Super Bowl everytime so that we as Chief fans can truely say "The Chiefs are the greatest team of all time and your team sucks".

Yes, with the number one offense in the NFL, a top 5 defense, a record breaking scoring machine at RB, and stats that don't mean anything. So you say. Me, I say the Bolts are at least in the AFC Championship.

Pats all the way unless of course by some miracle the Chiefs make it in the playoffs then the Chiefs all the way.

Ravens vs Bolts in AFC Championship game (the real SB). I hope the Bolts can win, but I think the Ravens go all the way this year...

true they do have some criminals on their team and the stats say that the more criminals on your team the better.

I'm pretty sure these WPI dumbasses that have jumped over here recently haven't figured it out.

No, only 18 years.

The 14-15 years prior to the Carl Peterson era were pretty much without hope.

Replace "stats" with "drugs" and you sound exactly like a D.A.R.E. officer.

Yeah bolts will be in the AFC game this year, but Marty will shit his pants at halftime and they'll have to surrender.

'Tis true, it is much better to support a theory or disprove someone else's idiocy with something like "I saw it on another BB", "I heard some commentator say" or "I read on ProFootballTalk.com" than to look at stats and trends.

Peter La Fleur: "I found that if you have a goal, (such as making the Super Bowl or even Playoffs)that you might not reach it. But if you don't have one, then you are never disappointed. And I gotta tell ya... it feels phenomenal."
