Something about the New Years Eve Miracle probably, but that just sounds lame.

Any of you poets out there got anything catchy?

The eve of all things new in KC.

The Eve of the New Chiefs Dynasty.

The Eve that everyone choked but KC.

The day the donkeys ate their own droppings!

The day the Orange Mange died!

The day Taco John's Orange Mange turned off their board to Chiefs fans!
What a bunch of losers! It seems they can dish it out but can't take it.

The day all Chiefs fans should run out and buy a lottery ticket!

"Oh shit, we got in" Sunday.
That's my answer, because it's the exact thing I said over and over as soon as I found out they made it. Which was only 3 hours ago by the way, because I was at work and couldn't get any scores 'til then.

Oh shit!

I'm still trying to figure out what I am more excited about....the Chiefs slipping into the playoffs against all odds or the Donks getting knocked at of the playoffs against most odds. This is like getting two of the greatest gifts all at the same moment. It took me a good while to believe it really happen.

only time will tell what nickname would be correct. If we lose to Indy it will be viewed as a wasted oppurtunity which would probably affect the nickname.

A 9-7 team slipping into the playoffs through a maze of back doors will not be a team considered to have wasted an opportunity if they don't advance.

Maybe not in your or mine eyes but to a lot of the fans and posters on here it will be turned into a failure to serve thier arguments against Carl Peterson, Herm Edwards and such.....

You know what really sucks about this whole thing? I know a number of obnoxious Donkey fans that will say the following if we go on to win the Super Bowl....."Well, if we didn't let you in, you wouldn't have done anything". It just pisses me off to know that I'm gonna have to listen to that kind of arrogance no matter how well we do in the Playoffs.

But we didn't beat Cleveland, and we needed an improbable chain of other team losses on the final day of the season to qualify for the playoffs.

That, my friend, is the very embodiment of stepping in through the back door.

The cool thing is that, HOW we got in no longer matters.

Its cliche but true to say that  is 0-0 like everyone else now.

Our O matches up nicely with the colts D and our D could all decide to play well. Laws extensive experience with manning could really be key...

This CAN be done.
