If Harrington and Brown can move the ball against Indy at home....
Green/Huard & LJ?

:hmmm:

Sure, but we also have to do that thing where we try to keep them from scoring too.

This one could be very similar to the 03 Playoff Game. This time I think our defense can generate just enough stops for us to win. LJ runs all over these guys for BIG Yardage

Yeah I don't take it as a vote of confidence from a guy who thinks urine is a shampoo option.

I agree with him. They can't hold a good high school rushing team under 250 yards. LJ might rush for a 1,000 yards against that horrific D. Manning will probably have his way with our D put he will have to be flawless to give them a good chance cause the Chiefs will be able to load up and run the ball at will.

Hey, we've got the flea-flicker and the halfback pass now. WE'RE UNSTOPPABLE!
Our QB turned it over 3 times and we STILL got 35 points.

I wonder what the single-game playoff rushing record is.

It could be in jeopardy Saturday.

And we could still lose if the turf monster doesn't stop grabbing our d-backs.

I think we have to control clock, force turnovers, and we'll be fine. Oh and we have to score touchdowns, not field goals.

Not sure but I definitely agree that it could be in big time jeopardy. If LJ stays healthy I could see him running for 250 against the "defensive guru" Tony Dungy.

How much will Jason Dunn being on IR hurt?

How much will Jason Dunn being on IR hurt?

It will mean that LJ won't be hoisted in the air after each of his 4 TDs.

How much will Jason Dunn being on IR hurt?I'm not sure that doesn't the passing game more than the running game.

I think the thing that will matter most is how well the defense plays. If we're down by 14 at halftime, we won't be running...

Was that a mistake by the Chiefs in putting Dunn on IR? I mean, they probably thought they weren't going to the playoffs...

He is having back surgery so I don't know how much help he could be.

The Playaction pass could be huge this game!

You know with all the talk of LJ running all over indy, that dungy is going to stack the box.

No real surprise. There's usually at least one first round upset, and matchup wise, this is a reasonably decent first round road game to have to play. Pound the rock with LJ, their run defense has been bad, keep Peyton off the field, it's a do-able matchup. Better than going to Foxboro...

If the Chiefs find some way to win thier first playoff game since 93 will they play the Chargers the next week?

Traditional logic would certainly agree with that but Dungy has tried to stack the box many times before and the other team doesn't even have to bother with play action or any trickery...Just line up and keep running it and at the end of the day you will average about 6 per carry and chewed up the entire clock. Look at what the Jags did to them a couple weeks ago. I think Garrard threw for just 69 yards. They didn't even have to pretend like they might pass it. Just smashed it down their mouths for 300 plus yards and made a joke of it.
