Holthus mentioned he has been around for a year...he is talking about whats happened in a year...

How much he respects what he was brought into..but says he has a way of doing things...players have to feel him out and he needs to feel out players.

Some players get it, some don't

|Zach|

He says people (emphasizing newspapers) have no idea what he is going to do.

You shouldnt believe everything you read.

Asked why Huard wasn't put in about halftime...

He says in the 1st half we only had 18 plays...and he didn't feel that was bc of the QB. He said he didnt feel the need for a change...esp when they went down and got the score. After they went more ahead with the lead he said it didn't matter who you put in QB it was a jailbreak. Difficult to come back in that situation

TinyEvel
01-08-2007, 07:35 PM
Oooh here come the live audience (planted) questions...

#1 Why was Huard not put in at the half?

A) Trent only had 18 plays. That wasn't all on the QB. It's really hard to evaluate on 18 plays. Then in the 3rd we got a TD. At that point he was doing okay. And when they went up to 23, I knew they were gonna pass rush, so no matter who's in there it's gonna be tough.

I agree with the 18 plays....thing, no one on O was in sync and those 4 drops were critical in the 1st half....can't pin it ALL on Green. Green expects to come back, but we'll see.
