Based on what we have now, before the draft and FA period, where do you see this team looking at next years schedule ? IMHO, 8-8, maybe 9 -7...even 7-9 is a real possibility.

It's really impossible to answer this question this early, but it does look like a fairly easy schedule. The NFC north has been the second weakest division this season. The AFC south is tough but outside of Indy and Houston all of those games are at Arrowhead.

It'll really come down to how well we play our own division.

I think it will likely snow on Dec 13 but not sure what time, 2 inches accumulation north of the river.

Its SOOOOOOOOOOOO early to prognosticate, this team could look WAY different next year.

But even with this years team & that schedule, 10-6 is not unthinkable.

I'm going to go way out on a limb and say we finish right around .500, give or take a game. For my real bold prediction (hold on to your hats right here) I'm saying we'll either just barely make or just barely miss the playoffs. Lastly, if we have a 1st round pick for the 2008 draft it will be between #'s 15-20.

Wow, I feel like Nostradamus.

Now that is insightful! It is like you have seen it before or something

Going on a trend, average wins on odd years from 1991 to 2005. I say the Chiefs will win 11 games.

Good night people, this is just a topic to discuss next years schedule with this years players.

We allknow that FA and the draft can change this, so yes it too early to lock down any prediction. The question was this team ( the one that just got bombed @ Indy ) ....... Not next years team ( the 2007 Chiefs )

11-5, I know I'm overly optimistic, I can't help it, I wanted to put perfect at home and a couple more road wins, but even I couldn't do that.
