View Full Version : Herm confirms today he is an insecure fraud

Watching Herm at his press conference today, he confirmed, through his attacking of individual media members and taking shots at Vermeil and Saunders that he is an insecure person who talks a big game, but can't back it up with what he's accomplished ON the field.

Herm talks a big game, talks like a guy who has had a ton of success in this league, but the bottom line is he has a career 50-51 record as a head coach including a 2-4 record in the playoffs.

I cannot WAIT until the day Herm is fired. I want to see his ugly-ass face at the press conference (he probably won't show up knowing the coward that he is).

Herm says he wants to compete with the Chargers for the division the problem is he has NEVER won more than 10 games in 1 season in his career. And don't add the playoffs either.

People are getting real upset over alot of words. Actions speak louder than words. When has Herm ever treated a player so poorly as DV did with LJ?

What DV did wasn't right but DV had earned that right. He has coached 2 SB teams and won 1.

Herm hasn't done shit as a head coach in this league.

Will Herm be Carl's last hire? I hope so...

How things suddenly change...we luck into the playoffs, Herm is sitting pretty...then the most embarrassing playoff loss in Chiefs' history followed by perhaps the most embarrassing press conference in Chiefs' history, although Gunther may argue about that.

I'll make a prediction: If the Chiefs have a losing record next year, both Carl and Herm are gone.

Herm and Carl will be here until the contracts run out. No doubt in my mind.

Plus with a possible youth movement on the way I'd say a losing record wouldn't be much of a surprise.

Knowing what you know about LJs pouting etc., do you not think DV had some justification a couple of years ago, to want the kid to grow up and earn his spot from Priest Holmes?

Wow! Do you really think that after what would be 19 years of service to the Hunt family, they'd fire him after a losing season? I find that hard to believe. I'd welcome it, but utterly shocked if it happened.

The press conference is right there on the righthand side. The Chiefs aren't trying to hide anything.

I think this is a good sign, personally. Vermeil's press conferences were milquetoast lip service. This sort of stuff shows the passion Herm has for the job and how much he cares. He's highly motivated.

Best blizzard hands down is the banana pudding blizzard. If your local DQ says they don't know how to make it, make them get out their three-ring blizzard binder and look it up.

I think that LJ treated that relationship like a black white hate thing and DV knew it. Don't throw DV under the bus, LJ already made it clear he doesn't like to be coached by a white guy.

When he said stats are what you talk about when you don't make the playoffs [talking about how prolific our offense was under Vermiel] I screamed at my radio that we won 10 games last year in only 16 attemtps. He could not win 10 games in 17 attempts.

I hate Herm Edwards. I feel like his middle name should be Dubya. He starts spouting off crap, then confuses himself with what he said, and then gets defensive when a member of the media calls him on it.

I guess we knew the results with a thread starter like you!

I did not see you in Indy.

OK fire a HC that made the playoffs with major injuries IN THE FIRST YEAR......with major injuries and new OC and 6 starters and a new technique.

I'll take the insecure fraud who talks about nothing but winning over the insecure fraud whose retirement tear-festival was about nothing but how great the Chiefs offensive statistics were in 2000-2005.

Where's the "none of the above' option? I'd rather have a head coach that actually has a Chiefs playoff win to talk about.

Herm's team performed above my expectations. I thought they would go 5-11. I sure hope I'm not a year ahead in that prediction.

They need to start Huard next year.
