If I had to choose now I'd stick with Green. He has an entire off-season to get right again and I thnk he can. I don't think he was mentally ready to come back when he did.

I am a big Trent Green fan, but we could find a QB 5 years younger in Huard, and half as cheap IMO. Huard seems to have better feet in the pocket, and a bigger arm. Without a fantastic line in front of Green, he's just an average QB. Huard has the arm to make some throws out of the pocket, and off his back foot IMO,

That is what all the NFL teams have been saying... Ever since Huard came in the league, he has been the most inquired about QB...

One of these days Huard will cure cancer and bring peace to the world...

Huard sucks!

If I understand it correctly Green costs the cap, stay or go. Huard would have to be re-signed & should get good offers to be someone's back up. And I see Trent as a better teacher(experience) for Croyle, who is the future.

Huard. Really, would any other team in the NFL choose to retain a soon to be 37 year-old QB who's clearly lost his edge in favor of a 33 year old QB who performed well and had a winning record?

We are talking about the Chiefs of course, so I fully expect them to make the wrong decision.

They've already thrown Green under the bus and a lot of fans have bought into it. Green won't be back.

That's quite possible.

My preference would be keep Green/Croyle. I agree Trent would seem to be the better teacher. Whoever it is, they better win games. I want to get younger and rebuild, but I want victories while we're doing it.

Great, so Teicher writes stories filled with his own opinions and thoughts with no quotes to back them up... and then PFT reports the info like it was actual journalism. Ugh.

Its the only decision that makes sense.

I like the fact that Green took Parker under his wing. You would see tv shots of the two setting together during the games. And Trent tried to get Parker involved.

But I'm sure there are some who think Huard's was the better way. Throw his way once or twicea game, shake your head & forget him

The Chiefs only look to fill the seats and their pockets. I don't know where Teicher is getting is info.

That was beautiful my friend! And the hiring of Herm (What is a forwards Pass) Edwards cements that into stone.

We are serious about one thing, Filling the seats and parking lot!

Agreed. Huard isn't the answer and it seems like the Chiefs are done with Green. I either want to sink or swim with Croyle or get someone new in here.

If the Chiefs are going defense in the first round of the draft, I am going to become violently ill and might die.

The Chiefs have been neglecting the offense in the early rounds of the draft for a few years now

As far as Green and Huard go, you just have to wonder if Green is healthy enough to hand off to LJ 400 times. I think you gotta go with the younger man. Come December that many handoffs might catch up to Trent, maybe he starts getting confused on the left/right thing.

Amen, we are going to suck on offense something nasty next year anyway. Why not start with the 2 year player and build for the future?

Yeah, that had nothing to do with Brian Waters stepping on Green's foot and everything to do with Green's age.
