I say you go 5-3 at home, with losses to Cincy, Tennessee, and Denver or San Diego (Although Arrowhead always has that x-factor and you could go 8-0)

And then either 3-5 or 4-4 on the road.

cheefer
01-20-2007, 03:39 PM
We'll lose 1 or maybe 2 at home(not to anyone in our division though)

And we'll win 1 or maybe 2 on the road(vikings and maybe bears)

It really depends on where each game lands on the calendar.

True. I think that is determined in March or April.

the bye plays a huge role so that may help us

Buck

Yeah, all the teams in the AFC West got screwed with early byes this season. We all should get Week 9-10 next year.

I say we lose 2 at home by 3 points or less, 2 more in which we punt over 18 times, and all of our road games, since our philosophy of not outscoring the opponent on the road leads to disappontment and shame.

Then again, maybe we'll run LJ up the middle a total of 544 times this year and lose them all.

I'd like to play indy first, we could really win it if we have a few construction changes in the offseason. Say we win one on the road like that, get our revenge, then say we have two home games after than, then the vikings and then a bye week. We could easily go 4-0 into a bye week.

but in reality we'll be 0-7 into a much needed bye week.

0-16

If I say what I really think we'll finish --- it will jinx the whole year...

You guys got screwed having to play Indy and Chicago on the road, SD got lucky. We play Indy, Chicago, and Baltimore at home.

I'm thinking the bolts will only lose to KC at home next year.

They could be 14-2 again easily

Thats called wishful thinking.

Wishful thinking?

The Chiefs will win the superbowl.

Chargers will lose wildcard due to not having LT for 11 weeks cause of an ankle injury.

donks will blow due to Cutler throwing 27 INTS/10 TDs

Raiders will go 0-16 due to having a HC who they found on the streets and payed him in subway and crack.

I just hope the schedule makers don't job us on back to back road games again for the 3rd consecutive season. Its not a secret that its difficult in the NFL to win back to back road games. I don't know what the percentage of winning both games are but I know its pretty low.

In 2005 San Diego and Denver both had 2 back to back road games compared to the Chiefs who faced that challenge 4 times that season. This season Denver and San Diego again had 2 while the Chiefs had 3.

Chargers: 11-5 losing to: Baltimore, @KC, @NE, @GB, and @Denver

Donks: 10-6 losing to: PIT, SD twice, @KC, JAC, GB

KC: 10-6, missing the playoffs, only losing to CINCY at home, then going 3-5 on the road beating OAK DET and some other team on week 17 that is playing their reserves.
KC:
