I thought he was gracious and sincerely thankful. Warner went on and on about it. Dungy mentioned it once or twice and continued on. With Warner I felt like he was cramming it down my throat, but with Dungy it felt natural.... Of course, I was at two very different spiritual places in my life during both of these events....

The bible strictly tell me not to have any other gods... so there is definately no altar to Peyton Manning in my home or office.

God blessed Manning with being 6'3 and a laser rocket arm and I am lucky to have had an opportunity to coach him.

Tell ya what... after we win the Super Bowl I'll have you come up to Indi and see if you could even catch one of those lasers that Manning is known for... aside from his stunning good looks.

Of course we would have to ask your mom for permission... perhaps knock down a wall so we can get you out of the house. No worries... I'll take care of all of that for ya.

Sorry to dissapoint you Go Chiefs. Peyton Manning is merely a man.... a good Christian man.

Don't be jealous of the fact that my team is going to win the Super Bowl and you get to spend your free time posting on forums, making star wars costumes, and wanking it to tranny porn on the net while your mom does your laundry and picks out the clothes you are gonna wear to your next Lan Party or Star Trek convention.

If you had God in your life, the almighty creator of all things and not Manning as you claim, you might be less bitter and actually be happy

BTW, we need a good 4th string emergency QB. The Chiefs best QB, St. Huard as you so lovingly refer to him as, should fit the bill just right. He MAY have what it takes to be the 4th string on a team like ours.

Or perhaps he could make a good 3rd string on any other team... except the Chiefs of course in which he is the obvious starter for next year.

This thread is way out of control

I think it's more bothersome that it pulls your string so hard.

I kinda wish a coach would say, man, they played right into our hands, we knew they would try these plays and we had the answer. I played the better hand and smacked their ass on thier way home. I even left a crisp 10 dollar bill on the nightstand. I deseve all the credit.

Back on point, whatever, you won the game and can say what you want. I know God isn't a big kid with a magnifing glass burning us "ants" It's so much bigger than we can even comprehend in this "reality". God has nothing to do with the game, but again, whatever you want to say, go for it.

I'm sure he does as well. IIRC, Dungy thanked God for things like strength and diligence, not for deciding the outcome of the game. Christians are sometimes a little wacky (sometimes a lot) but most of us understand that God isn't all that interested in the outcome of a football game.
