I love these movies! My favorite part is where Tom B. goes balistic at Rogder Dorn's house. "If you ever tank a play like that again, I will cut your nuts off and shove them down your ****ing throat!"
Who likes them? Come on!

There are too many great Bob Uecker quotes for me to write.

I would love to listen to Milwaukee Brewers games on the radio since he's their radio announcer up there. I dont think I would even go to the games, Id rather here him talk. lol

If I had to chose I would go with Major League 2 both were two of favs growing up.

Even the great Scott Bakula couldn't save Back to the Minors.

Still makes me chuckle every time.

The first one I could watch over and over. The other two range from lame to godawful.

Favorite line:

Wimpy boyfriend, shaking Jake's hand, and smiling: Stay away from her.
Jake Taylor, smiling back: Suck my dick.

:D

1 and 2 were great. Randy Quaid and Jack Parkman were hilarious in the 2nd one.

Back to the Minors was just terrible.

I love Major League and still watch it on a regular basis. It's the reason the Indians are my favorite team. Sorry not a Royals fan, I don't live in the KC area. Like the second one and I think I'm required to like the third. The team it surrounds is my home team. Although they have been renamed twice since.

We've had this discussion on here before, but I always liked the second one too. I mean, the first one is great, but I liked the 2nd one too. It probably had some less raunchy jokes but it was still pretty funny. Randy Quaid is always great... plus the scenes where coach is screaming and yelling in the hospital always crack me up.

"Are you telling me Jesus Christ can't hit a curve ball???"

Major League: 10/10 stars
Major League 2: 4/10 stars
Back to the Minors: 1/10 stars

The first one is an all-time classic, and it doesn't get old. Ever. The second one was okay, but it really needed Randy Quaid and Bob Eucker to save it - without their quips, it would've died a quiet death (except for the hospital scene, that'll go down as one of the best ever). The third one might have been an okay film if it hadn't borne the "Major League" title.

Completely agree. Snipes is the only one who could play Willie Mays Hayes.

It ticked me off that that was not in the original movie even though they ran trailers that included the line. It finally showed up in 2.

Rick Vaughn: Whats that shit on your chest?
Eddie Harris: Crisco, Bardol, Vagisil.......Any one of them will give you another two to three inches drop on your curve ball. Of course if the umps are watching me real close I'll rub a little jalapeno up my nose, get it runnin', and if I need to load the ball up I just...wipe my nose

Rick Vaughn: You put snot on the ball?

Eddie: I haven't got an arm like you, kid. I have to put anything on it I can find. Someday you will too.

Yea, i always wondered why that scene got deleted....pretty funny line in the trailer.

Lots of movies have scenes in the trailers that dont make it in the final cut though....
