Saw a screening of this movie this past Tues. The screening was put on by the good folks over at myspace. The best part of the screening was the fact that Weigle, Dangle and Garcia were there in person to intro the movie and have a Q n A after. They stayed in character and just gave the audience a bunch of crap.
The movie itself was pretty good, had some funny cameos. I wouldn't say it was the funniest movie I had seen in a long time but it did have it's moments. It does have a 'plot' which is rather thin at best but the plot really isn't the drawing point of a movie such as this. The draw is the interaction between the cops and their new surroundings of Miami. So if you are a fan of the show then you'll enjoy this movie. If you have not seen the TV show you should still find plenty to laugh at.
Tonight I am going to a screening of Oceans 13 should be interesting since it's so far in advance of the film actually coming out (sometime in June). Most likely will be a test screening.
