DaFace will be along shortly to post an article from the Atchison newspaper about my grandpa. He was also an MD in a small Kansas town. Not even the big strong dudes would mess with him. Keep in mind that he was only 5'6" and about 125 lbs.

Here ya go. Sorry for the big picture - it's about the best I could do with such a big article like that.

If a mod would be so kind to add this on to Skip's post, that'd be greaaaat... [/Bill Lundberg]

Well, kinda. More like he's "too dumb" to convert three separate PDF files into one picture, host it on imageshack, and then post it here if anything.

Oh, he's going to be undead? Well... I have a shotgun. That seems to be the usual remedy.

How'd he come to settle in Caney, Ks?

How'd he come to settle in Caney, Ks?
He moved to Chicago after medical school. Then to Moline, Ks for an uknown reason. Then to Caney. At the time, Caney had a huge natural gas boom and had two glass plants. Really a booming city until the gas ran out. Plus grandad liked to drive his Cord to Tulsa over roads that weren't paved all the way.

Hey Skip, I'm coming down to Tulsa tomorrow to play cards. I'm not interested in hanging out with you but I thought you might like to wash my car. Drop me a line and I'll tell you where to pick it up.

Yes, but you would have done the same thing if you were a bloodthirsty psychopath like Grampy Gramp Gramp was.

But seriously, that's a pretty cool article. Good read.

Yeah, Skip, why didn't you follow your Grandpa, Pa, and _______ no Skip-pa? Were you just too rebellious/cantankerous ... as you are on here? But, reading the article I can see where you get relentness/fight from ... your Grandpa sure proved that it pays to fight for our dreams.

At any rate, I'm glad you didn't follow the profession of your forefathers coz if you were a Dr. you would not have time to be on here to add your wisdom to this place. I would miss you!!!!
