I just started playing around with some music editing software I have and thought I'd throw some highlight clips of LJ and Dante onto a song....

I Chose "My Hero" by the Foo Fighters.

Anyway, I'd like an honest assessment of the work. This is my first time using the software, and I've used the only two highlight clips I have, so if anyone knows where to find more, please let me know.

Clip to follow.....

unless you were wanting a sarcastic opinion. We got lots of knuckleheads that can do that.

It may be too big......I guess I'll break it into two....

best thing to do is find a place that you can host it on.

Here's clip 1:

EDIT: DAMNIT CARL! :cuss:

Even a 30 second clip is too big. Any suggestions on where to host it?

I'm guessing it doesn't compare to my awesomeness, but I shall humor your request and gaze upon your work with my godlike eye.

youtube...

Or you could send it to me over AIM and I'd slap it on jidar's server.

I highly doubt it, considering it's my first crack at it....

Any ideas on where I can host this thing?

I have Maya and Final Cut Pro and no time to read the bible-thick manuals that come with them.

BTW, what program did you use? I've been using Camtasia Studio for awhile now. I'm scared of anything more complex.

It must really suck if the computer isn't even going to let you post it.

Youtube. Just has to be 320x240....

Or you can hop on AIM, send it to me, and I'll upload it to jidar's server.

If 60 MB this would work...

Rapidshare.de will work, too.

How long should a 21MB file take?

Depends on your upload. For me, that would take a half hour or so.

Hopefully this works, 20 posts later......

Talk about a let down.....

EDIT: Since Morphius said this file was working....

WTF?

Was it choppy for anyone else, or is my computer just a POS?

This is starting to suck.....

It played about 1 second locked up and I had to ctrl alt delete to get out.

Was not choppy for me?

Maybe some some space between the the two, some sounds run together.

It played fine for me. Wasn't to bad for a first try, could be a little cleaner, maybe a fade in of the second audio to make it sounds like it fits more, but I really have no idea what I'm talking about.

The first host or filefront?

Anyway, thanks for your input. The first part of the Dante clip doesn't fit right.....not much I could do considering I have two clips to work from.

Anyway, thought I'd give it a shot. Would like to do more, but need more clips......

zfile.

It wasn't bad at all, could be fun on game day.

I was thinking the same thing.

Put together a CD to play while tailgaiting.

Need more clips and about 6 months practice.......

Thanks GC.

I'm finding out quickly that more clips are going to be hard to come by. The Chiefs Radio Network page has emptied the archies for some reason.

Shameless bump, since the links are now working.....
