TBH I'll take it.

Quinn to start, Croyle at 2. Brown or Printers at 3. Huard goes to another team and Green retires.

Lets build a QB of our very own and cross our fingers that he turns out better than TB.

I don't know if QB is our biggest problems...

Unless we know green is going to retire and Brodie can't do anything.

Anybody who thinks Quinn is going to be a high caliber NFL starter is high, or didn't see the nationally televised games against high quality opponents where he crapped his shorts.

I also would not mind waiting one more year and making the neccesary trades to ensure we pick up that kid from Hawaii. *cant be bothered to look it up right now*

There seems to be a big gap in the assessment of Quinn. One of the blogs I read have him dropping fast calling him "the next Joey Harrington." The same blog cites Mel Kiper moving him down to 9th in his latest big board.

How many years can we go without a genuine decent reciever? Ever think that the reason Trent is having problems is because only Aging Eddie is the only WR who catches the damn thing?

Sure but the fact that he is 83 years old and just got off a major concussion didnt helpt things las year for him.

Pick up a young QB in the draft and a wide out in FA such as Charles Rogers.

We definately need a QB for the future, but I still think Trent should start next season.

Even with a salary hit in 2007 of $9.2mm?

Like Heathcliff Slocumb and Chuck McElroy, but for different reasons.

I seriously doubt we draft another qb, we drafted croyle pretty high and we're getting alot of fa looks from printers, etc.

Next year Trent's probably starting with croyle backing him up and probably printers in the 3 unless they don't cut green outright.

I think that's how the season starts.

Croyle will be starting by seasons end.

Why else would they be "dumbing down the offense"

THIS weeks Sporting News has another little write up about Brady Q. Besides what was already mentioned they talk about how OTHER draft guru's say he is one of the most over-hyped college qb's in recent memory. They criticize his accuracy all over the field and only above average arm strength. Some boards have him falling out of the first round now....bet he ends up being a top 20 pick regardless IMO.

I can't believe Trent would go Carlton Gray and refuse to restructure. Not after last year.

He'll probably restructure, but... he's restructured quite a few times to help the team when he was still on top of his game and riding high. During those times, he could have told the team to take a flying leap, and no one would have known any difference. He didn't though. Those restructures are now hurting him, as they do all players. Backloading your contract is a bad move for players. That's the NFL, though. What have you done for me lately?

I don't think Trent would refuse to restructure, I'm wondering if the Chiefs want to restructure. Almost always, the player is the one who benefits from restructuring in incremental bonus in later years.

Trent has been a magnificent leader and player for us, but I would not be suprised if the Chiefs cut him this year or next.

Let me get this straight:

Our receivers are old, slow and couldn't catch a cold.

Our OL is made of micron thin Swiss cheese eaten by mold that has been genetically engineered to eat Swiss cheese. Not only that, but LJ can't even block a little Japanesese guy.

Trent is so old that no one remembers when he was born and he was near death, judging by the size of the bloodstain.

We're doomed.

A) He'd never fall to us.

B) Carl would never allow drafting him.

C) Herm is all about finding the steals and low round talent.
