Yeah, I realize it's something for an unranked team to beat a ranked team. But Syracuse won a national title just 4 years ago. Shouldn't they act like they expect to win these games and not rush the court? I just don't get it.

Sort of like tearing down the goalposts after every game your football team wins? Does that sound familiar? :p

I understand the safety argument, but the "act like you've been there" argument is lame. Or, more succinctly:

Rushing court = fun.

The word "unranked" might have something to do with it..

Wordsworth would probably be all like, "Rushing the court is the spontaneous overflow of emotion."

please don't use the team being unranked as an excuse to rush the court. Duke was "unranked" two weeks ago and you didn't see their fans rush the court after a win.

If your unranked team just took down the #1 team then rush the court, but they took down the #10 team whom they share the same record.

LSU didn't rush the court when they beat us this past weekend. They celebrated in the stands, like they should.

I was at the game last night, syracuse -georgetown is allways the biggest rival game since 1980. syracuse had the longest home winning streak ( i think it was 53 games at manley field house) the last game at manley georgetown beat syracuse and coach thompson announced on the pa and said NOW manley is closed :banghead:

I heard that there is literally 5-7 feet of snow on the ground up there... perhaps all the snow has given people cabin fever and they looked at all that area on the court where there wasnt snow, and they got excited? heh.

They didn't win the National Championship. The Jayhawks lost it. Jayhawks had the lead, the better team. It was theirs to lose. POY and a great senior class lost that game. CLANK

Heh, not every game. But yeah, that does start to get embarrassing.

The fans of No. 23 Tintern Abbey stormed the court after their team upset Coach Coleridge and his No. 1 ranked Ancient Mariners by the score of 64-58.

Gerry McNamara, Hakim Warrick and Carmelo Anthony might disagree with you.

Though it is plain, if we made our FT's it's a different story. Those guys played great games, don't discount them.

It's only fun when the fan base of certain teams says it's fun.
