He was a good ST player. He also was good at RB because of our offensive line that could have made Rashaan Salaam look good.

He was part of the reason why Dante looked all-world at running back kicks.

I say get 'im if we dump every other RB on our team behind Bennett and LJ.

Blaylock was a solid ST player and he'll be a good backup when Bennett's on the way out eventually.

I'm for bringing him back. With Bennett always hurt, a good #3 RB and special teams guy is necessary.

Sad but true. And I'm pretty sure that line has left the building. :(

I'd bring him back just for special teams. He smokes Dee Brown.

Well in Carl's defense he keeps trying to hand off a pink slip to Brown but Dee keeps fumbling it away before he can read it.

The real question is: Could that line have made Rashaan Shehee look good???

I like Blaylock on screen-passes. He's pretty good when blocks downfield happen.

Well that does it, Herm won't want him. We might outscore someone on the road.

They were only an outstanding O-Line.
Not miracle workers.

Hmmm...I think that sound you hear is Dante Hall banging on Carl Peterson's front door.

I definitly wouldn't mind having him back.

Derrick Blaylock displayed some good potential for the Chiefs but he could not stay healthy in New York. In two years he only played in 11 games.

Speaking of health, it is too bad that Michael Bennett was unable to stay healthy last year. I thought giving up a 4th for him last year was reasonable because he gave us a proven running back to back up Larry Johnson. Also his contract made him tradable for this year. It gave the Chiefs a year to develop a running back like Derrick Ross. Two bad things happened though; Bennett was unable to stay healthy, so he has no trade value and Derrick Ross backed up Dee Brown. The Chiefs will now have to see if Derrick Ross has anything in NFL Europe.

YOu really want the first pick in the draft dont you? lol

Well, lets keep Johnson, be a mediocre team for the next three years, drag our feet through the whole time Herm is here.

We need heart and leaders on this team.

No one wants to be both.

Some show a lot of heart...others try to be leaders.

But no one has done both.

Draft picks order doesnt matter. Everyone knows that. The best players can be found in the fifth and sixth rounds...

I don't think there's ANY team in the NFL that's willing to pay him more than the veteran minimum so money shouldn't be an issue. The issue is whether or not he would fit into the Chiefs plans.

Of course he fits into the Chiefs plans. He's a running back!

According to Herm, all we need on the field is 5 good run-blocking OL, 4 RBs, a mobile QB who can hand the ball off, and one WR so the D thinks we might actually pass the ball. Their job is not to score points, just take up time to rest the D.

What could it possibly tell you other than he's young and very raw. Here's my longshot prediction: Ross leads the NFLE in rushing by a long margin this year.

I like Ross. Reminds me of Priest. Short, stocky power runner that always seems to fall forward for a few more yards.
