According to Rick Reilly, that's the latest.
That would be a very admirable move.

I bet he still throws an INT.

If he really cared about poor people abroad, he could play football and donate 10% of his salary and help them a lot more than going over there in person, unless he wants to teach them about throwing INTs or grooming a pornstache.

I don't know what he personally contributes from a $ perspective, but... http://www.jakeplummerfoundation.org/

He seems like a good guy, it's easy for us to give him a hard time because he played for a competitor, but since Tillman's death, Jake has seemed different, troubled.

He could do that too, and probably does donate, but at the same time it would be easier to throw money than actually volunteer your time and efforts for a rich guy like him. It's a great move on his part, have to give him props.

Sometimes you just can't please people, no matter what you do in the eyes of some.

Exactly. PEople bitch about people who just donate. Here's a guy who is actually going to roll up his sleeves and get dirty, and now THAT'S not good enough.
I mean, it is Jake Plummer after all, but I think it's a good thing he's doing. Crap, I might even have to get some respect for him... :shake:
What a puzzling individual....

At least he would be less likely to trip over a couch if he was living in a mud hut in central Uganda.

I thought that was Brian Griese, or was that his dog he tripped over? :hmmm:

Griese tripped over Trevor Pryce's fist...
Elaine must have got to him.

IIRC... Griese had a shopping cart, tripped on his dog in a driveway and had an issue with stairs. Plummer cracked/broke a toe by popping his knuckles sitting on the sofa.

Jake Plummer was a couch, Brian Griese was a dog. Hard to keep track of these Donx QBs. Cutler should just hide in a closet.

I think Cutler should come out of the closet....

That's pretty cool. I've always seen Plummer as something of a free-spirited hippy, which I think was a reason he had a hard time fitting in with the NFL.
