Solid move by Baltimore.......honestly LJ and McGahee's trade values aren't that far apart. No one wants to give up a first for a RB anymore.

Browns | J. Lewis meeting with team
Wed, 7 Mar 2007 16:23:16 -0800

Updating previous reports, Michael Smith, of ESPN, reports unrestricted free-agent RB Jamal Lewis (Ravens) is meeting with the Cleveland Browns.

Man, ****in RBs on the move this offseason. Next to sign should either be Jamal Lewis or Corey Dillon.

Possible trades for LJ and Michael Turner as well for the Browns and Bills.

I would probably agree with that. a 2nd and a 3rd would probably be the best we could hope for for LJ.

Something like that......like I said we should have offered LJ to the Jets for Vilma and their high 2 which was 37, and of course GoChiefs flipped out on me but hey I thought that would have been a good deal for us.

Or we just hold on to him (Ala Shaun Alexander) of a few years ago, and pray he has 2 or 3 more HUGE seasons left...

You can't say that.. There is always some team out there willing to take a chance on a proven player opposed to a drafted maybe... Hell Moss was what a year ago or two???

Trust me, some team would be willing to give up their 1st for LJ...
