View Full Version : LJ Trade Predicitons

I think the Chiefs will trade LJ and our first round pick to the Detroit Lions for their 1st round pick.

The Lions are semi good team minus their running game. They would much rather have LJ over an unknown Peterson.

We then trade down and pick up Okoye and get some draft picks.

Preist Holmes comes back and runs for 2,000 yards.

Sorry, musta missed something.
Why are we trading one of the top two RB's in the league?

1. Can't afford him
2. Not a leader

I would bet there is 30% chance LJ gets traded

I would bet that your odds are a little high.

there is no way in the world that LJ gets traded.

They may trade Tony G also. Holthus says Herm wants to stockpile draft picks.

Then why did we just resign him?

I don't think the market for Tony is nearly as big as it is for LJ

This isn't going to happen. Millen might consider Kennison and Parker and our first for their first, though.

Seriously, I think some of us have over-valued LJ. Is he the second best back in the league? Yes. But how much longer do you honestly expect him to remain at this level. At a clip of 400+ carries per year, it would be great to see him maintain All-Pro(ish) status for two more years IMO. Will the Chiefs realistically compete for the gleam in this time? No, so why not improve long term? Unfortunately, unless LJ proves to be superhuman, he's not in the Chiefs' SB future (when and if that day ever comes).

I'd be more than happy to eat crow regarding all of this, though.

I predict the Chiefs are going to trade LJ to Oakland for a mountain of poop.

Herm Edwards will assemble a staff of roughly 60 people to assist him in climbing atop the stinky hilltop.

And once there, he will decree that recxjake was right all along, and proceed to recite as much of the Quran from memory, which turns out will be very little.

But Herm did say that there would be a blockbuster event. Must be trading Scanlon.

LJ is not going anywhere, an the lions jus traded for tatum bell, which gives them bell an Jones (if healthy) so they would not need LJ, an i dont think millen keeps on screwin up id bet he picks joe thomas here
