Will be,should be a good one. Gotta go for my favorite .......KANSAS. Who'd you think ?

How many teams from the Big 12 gets to go to tthe Big Dance..... I'm guessing 6,KU,OU,ISU,MU,OSU,TEX.

A good chance that Baylor and Colorado will get a NIT !

Eight out of 12 isn't to bad !

What about you Big 10 Quackers out there ?

i sure hope mizzou can make it. just so they can get their *** bounced in the first round. nothing sweeter than that...lol. my pick is probably iowa state, although i would like kansas to win it. oh well i guess i'll just have to settle for kansas winning the national championship.

Texas Tech.

Like it matters. No little 12 team could hold Illinois or, most importantly, THE MIGHTY SPARTANS' jock straps.

I gotta take my Jayhawks over Iowa State.

Come on,be truthful,(hehe)don't kid yurself,.(hehe)

How many Small 10 Teams do you think will get in ?

6. Seven is possible, but with Iowa's demise, I doubt it.

MSU, Illinois, OSU, IU, Wisconsin & with today's win, Penn St.

Iowa is GOING to the big dance and they'll have Recker bag. Then we can talk.

ISU takes the Big 12 - easy. For the second year in a row.

What happened to freshman Jayhawk Mario Kinsey. Anyone?

03-08-2001, 08:39 PM

I hope the chickenhawks get their @$$es handed to them.

03-08-2001, 09:07 PM
Jayhawks all the way. Mario Kinsey left the squad to "Concentrate on academics".

03-08-2001, 09:24 PM
Kinsey wanted to make sure his grades were in order for the football season.

I think Kansas will win the tounery with a close victory over ISU. This time Gooden will be the difference, and maybe the 'Hawks will defend the three better.

Ever notice those idiots in the Big 10 can't even count?

Roy - Big 10 Quackers???

You mean the Big 10 Quackers with 4 of the last 8 finalists in the last 2 years? You mean the Big 10 Quackers who have TWO #1 seeds this year? You mean the Big 10 Quackers with 5 times as many titles as your Big12?

Mich St (#1 Seed), Penn St, Illinois (#1 seed), Ohio St, Iowa, Indiana, and Wisconsin.

7 to your 6.

Bow to superiority once again, you should be used to it by now.

If any of you guys want to get into the NCAA Bracket Challenge on CNNSI.COM go to the following address:

Create a login and choose:

1. Join Private Group
2. Group name "uberstuds" - thanks Gaz :D
3. Password: "nofatchicks" - yes I'm immature for my age

The competition is fun and could probably provide a basis for some good-natured rassing being the offseason and all.

All are welcome.

Otter - I took a chance. Prognostication is not my strong suit (as many on last years FFL can tell you). But it looked like fun.

03-12-2001, 08:32 PM
how do I make my picks once in the private group?

03-12-2001, 08:33 PM
Never mind.

03-12-2001, 08:39 PM

Just click on the team you think is going to win and it fills in the bracket for you.

03-12-2001, 08:45 PM
Yeah I figured that part out. But I have another question: I joined the group but, I am not showing up, any idea as to why not?

03-12-2001, 08:53 PM
I was wondering that myself, the only name I can see is my own. Joe W. is that what you see too?

I'm guessing the names will show up once the games start and the picks are locked but I don't have a definite answer right now. I'll email tech support.

03-12-2001, 08:55 PM
Yep, your name is the only one I see, no Russ, no me, just you.

My money is on the Longhorns taking the Big 12. What do I win?
