Which #1 seed will it be? Back-to-back championships?

I live in a fantasy world where they both lose.

I'm seriously sick and tired of hearing about these two ****ing schools. I don't care who wins as long as it's neither one of these two schools.

Then I once again listened to the wrong friend. He said that Ohio State was the overall #1 seed, and that he didn't know why. He didn't think they were that great, nor that they would make it to the championship game. I guess I need to stop trusting my friends.

I guess florida cause I don't like OhioState.

Then again, I don't want florida to win their second in a row, a repeat.......

Any chance they tie?

Joakim Noah reminds me of a friend I had in college.

Greg Oden reminds me of the man in the park with the present in his pants.

So I think I'm for Florida

BTW, where is the Gaz option in this poll? Also some type of a "I hope a loss for both, or some type of tie" option would have been nice.

These 2 squads played earlier this year, about 3 weeks before they played each other for the football NC, Florida put a whipping on them 86-60. I don't think there will be much difference the 2 time around. Ohio State gets killed by Florida for the 3 time in a 5 months, but only second time in bball.

I agree somewhat, but it also adds to my disdain when it's schools that get too much hype, IMO. Like the Patriots, not my team, so I'm tired of seeing them do so damn well and hear about them so much from the media.... same thing here.

I read on the Jayhawk board that Fla would probably disappear from the basketball scene for 20 years after this year.

We've been to 4 FF's since 1994 ('94, '00, '06, '07) and 3 NC games. This isn't the first good team we've had, and wont be the last.

Florida deserves a lot of props for beating us in the Championship game this year. Although I think we forgot to get off the plane anyways. I think its gonna be a good game. We have to keep Oden outta foul trouble. Horford or Noah cant guard Oden down low, Oden cant guard Noah up top so I think we will go with our zone. Or Oden will guard Horfy and Hunter will guard Noah. Noah makes me mad he looks like a girl with his little poney tail and his mexican facial hair, but he is good thats for sure. Jamar Butler is gonna have a huge game and FU will lose IMO. Hopefully your post dont make the mistake of calling Oden out like Joey Dorsey did.

Apparently Florida won some sort of college basketball game this evening.

Odd that there wasn't a game thread or anything. And here I thought the world's greatest college basketball fans were represented on this board. :whackit:

It's called "High Basketball IQ", not the "World's greatest college basketball fans". Get it right. Nebraska football fans use the "Greatest fans" line.

Not at all. But all I've heard for months is how great and wonderful college basketball is, how all important it is, the BB itself is renamed and then polluted with college basketball threads, and now, a week later, the national championship game is played and all I hear is.... crickets chirping? Just seems..... ironic? Is that the word? :hmmm:

There was a Super Bowl thread without the Chiefs.

There was a World Series thread without the Royals.

There was a College Football Championship thread without MU, KU, KSU or NU.

So why, I wonder, was there no mention of this game until it was over, and then only by a person who admittedly doesn't give two shits about college basketball?

Perhaps it's not that big of deal after all, eh?

It's because the majority of people that posted in the college basketball threads were too bummed to really participate. After KU lost, I was too depressed to give a shit about who won. I imagine it's the same for most of the fans of other teams, too.

It's not that NCAA Basketball isn't great; it's just that we were too depressed.
