A video so nice, it's worth posting twice?

What's important is to remember that we have a cutoff date for funding and help to get this young man out.

The troops are beyond party, beyond politcs, and always will be be. They always should be because they dont' make the policy.

Why they come home is why they fight, but that's not important enough. Politics always crawls in and those who sacrifice, agree or not, always pay.

Good.

That should also mean you know that leadership (Pres and Legislature) is costing us unnecessary lives...

My purpose in this thread is not to discuss the particulars of this war. My feelings are well documented in the DC though.

Mother Mary bless that place.

Here, we can agree to soldiers losing their lives that shouldn't be, and shouldn't have to.

Why they have to is a conversation between them and their God, if they have one.

And so is why we choose not to fight.

You ever believe what you have was worth dying for?...

I think that those who make sacrafices on my behalf like this one above deserve to have those sacrafices honored repeatedly.

ok.

You have to be a stone cold bitch if you didn't shed a tear to that.

Thanks for the (re) post. I had not seen that before.

I've hesitated in showing the clip to my wife. If it brings me to tears, it would tear her up. We just had a baby boy, she's a pacifist, and both her brothers have had to have multiple extended tours over there away from their respective daughters.

It hits a little too close to home.

Yep. Right now I'm :crybaby: too.

Once you have kids, something changes inside you. Sometimes the news is too much to watch.

My lil brother was going to be sent to Iraq in November and I just found out his assignment was changed to a domestic one. These parents over there who are giving it all are truly making the greatest sacrafice. God Bless em.
