Eddie Robinson, who sent more than 200 players to the NFL and won 408 games during a 57-year career, has died. He was 88.

Super Bowl MVP quarterback Doug Williams, one of Robinson's former players, said the former Grambling State University coach died shortly before midnight on Tuesday.

That's because nobody really cares about him I guess. I posted this and shared a quick bit about my friend who had a chance to meet with him - it fell to page two within hours.

Someone has now bumped your thread to the front page, maybe it will have a better chance today. They really just got around to really putting it on TV a lot this morning.

I never heard of him. I wonder why he never jumped to usc or smewhere where more talent.
