2. Why is this funny? Everyone here (in Gainesville) understands why they're all leaving and we're grateful that we've been privileged to watch the best college basketball team in the country for the past 2 years. They all could have left last year and they came back and won it all again. No one else had done that in the last 15 years. These were a very special group of players that put the TEAM above individual wants/goals/etc. This team will be remembered forever.

3. To further evidence how special these guys are, they're all staying in school this semester so that they leave the program in good academic standing and maintain the 100% GSR our basketball team has.

4. Billy Donovan is staying... so PBJ

Yeah, two championships in two years, plus thier coach spurning tradition-rich Kentucky. A lot of pain in store in Gainsville.

pain? LMAO

I think we could go 0-12 in football next season and not make the NCAA Tourney (neither of which will happen) and not have any pain.

When you win 3 championships in 364 days your pain threshold skyrockets :D

Plus the weather's nice in Florida.

Uhhh, I wouldn't mind if KU decided to simply forfeit the next season after consecutive national championships.

I think I could live with that.

Bronco fans are still living off the back-to-back SB's 10 years ago.

I'm guessing you're kids will be starting college before Florida fans start crying.

Everyone knew this, they came back for 1 more round, back to back champs, what more is there to prove at this level. Donovan should get plenty of good recruits...

it was more about trying to take some pleasure from their very limited pain.

what's so freakin hard to figure out

would it be better if they had everyone return and went for a three?

They're better off going for the brass ring in the NBA. If Lebron James can do it, they sure can.

I would take having every single KU player leave for a championship, especially 2 in row

It's about time Florida started living up to its hype.

It was pretty damn obvious that they were all going to leave after this season anyway. It was impressive that Florida was able to retain them after last season. The draft was not particularly strong and this years is looking just the opposite.

I'm sure they feel some limited pain by the attention and recruiting this has brought to their program.

I can't stand Florida but its hard to argue that position.

If only you could have taken pleasure from YOUR team performing better in the tourney.

But alas, you're forced instead to revel in other people's pain to avoid confronting your own.

Would have been cool to see someone go for 3 in a row, despite the fact that would counteract my agenda as a college hoops fan.

Well Duh.....the Gatahs couldn't afford to pay them AND the football team.
