Here's John Clayton's list:

Here's his list:
1)Nate Odoms, Seahawks
3)Gabe Wilkins, 49ers
4t)Alvin Harper, Bucs
4t) Bert Emanuel, Dolphins
5)Dwayne White, Rams

I can think of a few:
Desmond Howard, Oakland
Larry Brown, Oakland
Dale Carter, Denver
Carl Pickens, Titans
Keyshawn Johnson, Bucs
Dana Stubblefield, Redskins
Dan Wilkinson, Redskins

What's yours?

Elvis Grbac...Ravens..

DUH! How did I miss that one?

I think Larry Brown has to top this list...

Lewis Tillman, Bears...Signed him away from the Giants to be there feature back to replace Neil Anderson

Antonio Langham signed away from the original Browns for big money by the Niners.

Andre Rison when given big money by the Browns...

I think Big Fat Chet belongs on this list.

NY Jets laying out the big bucks for Neil O'Donnell with very little return comes to mind...

How could we have forgotten the Donx moves last year?

Lester Archambeau & Kavika Pittman

And Robinson was fired because they thought it was coaching. Heck, I saw that they released Keith Traylor, a far cry better than those 2.

Chet, Stubblefield, Dale Carter and Carl Pickens were excellent suggestions!

I'll add:
Joey Galloway - worst desperation move of all time?
Carlton Gray - ugh!
Tony Martin - legal probs
Reggie White/Eric Swann - what's the use?
Leon Lett to the Broncos? :p

It seems like the Browns have made a couple of blunders over the last year or two. Names won't come to me.

Does anyone else feel like the D-line is a hotbed of underachievers???

Mark Rypien was really talented....

Hmmm... Dan Williams, maybe? Pittman had a good year, but Lester was a bust. Galloway had a season ending injury, that really shouldn't count.

Brett Perriman.

I forgot about Casillas. He wanted nothing to do with KC, he wanted to get back to Texas ASAP.

Galloway's injury complicates it, but it was still a terrible trade. JJ dreaming that he could squeeze another SB out of Aikman and Smith if he added a new Irvin??? Hmmm. Even if he stayed healthy he would have been wasted on that squad IMO.

Ok, when you clarify it like that, I can see your point. Plus, they gave two #1 picks for Galloway which was a little high in my book. If he has 3-4 good years then I think it was worth it, but not if he's their only bright spot.

Those 2 picks we got for Go-away so far have yielded:

Shawn Alexander

and this years #7..hopefully Gerard Warren...Good trade?
I'd say so.....Joe

Are we talking about "worst FAs" or worst trades?

Galloway doesn't meet the criteria.

Worst trades in the history of the NFL?

#1 - Hershall Walker to the Vikes for a thousand draft picks. (It seemed like a thousand!)

#2 - Eric Dickerson to the Colts for 2,000 draft picks to the Rams (And the Rams squandered every one of them)

#3 - Ricky Williams for 2,300 draft picks from the Saints. (And Daniel Snyder still felt he had to blow his bankroll on a bunch of greybeards last season)

#4 - John Jefferson(Chargers WR) to the Packers because Eugene Klein hated his agent Howard Slusher. Jefferson went downhill thisfast in Lambeau Field.

Best trade in NFL history?

#1 - Cleveland trades Len Dawson to the Chiefs for a 12-pak of Budweiser (They had to be drunk to give up on Lenny the Cool!!)

Joe, I love that signature, so long as I ignore the time the Chiefs helmet is onscreen. Classic there...

He omitted the Hawks because they've been the redheaded stepchild since 1977 and will be the first to get booted during the 2002 realignment.

Lew Bush to KC. Lots of money for a special teamer.

Chiefs worst of all time:

4. Chiefs trading a #2 for Chester McGlockton

1. Carlton Gray

2. Lew Bush

3. Mighty Mouse

4. Brett Periman

5. Brenston Buckner

6. Dan Williams (one good year, nothing but trouble since)

7. Marcus Spears

8. Derrick Walker

Draft Picks

1. Trezelle Jenkins

2. Matt Blundin

3. Lake Dawson

4. Rashaan Sheehee

5. Greg Hill

6. Steve Elkins

7. Percy Snow

8. Harvey Williams

Hey Ken
While we're on the subject, does this still send chills down your back?

"With their first round pick, the Green Bay Packers select, Tony Mandarich, tackle, from Michigan State.

He just never misses an opportunity.

I bet he can type Lake Dawson really really fast!
