Trent Green threw 5 TD passes against Miami but is that the same as scoring 5 TD's?

RealSNR

It's not Priest, because he shared 4 with Blaylock and that was the most for him in a game. Not LJ.

Abner Hayes? Okoye?

The Chiefs were the Texans at the time.

Billy Cannon did it when he was with Houston. He later played for the Chiefs.

Gayle Sayers scored 6 touchdowns in 1 game. He was drafted by the Chiefs but elected to play for the Bears in the NFL instead.

Clinton Portis scored 5 TDs against the Chiefs.

Five TD passes in one game is impressive but its not what I'm looking for right here.

Only 1 Chief has thrown for 6 TDs in a game.

(appears we have the same calendar)

THAT would have to be Len Dawson.

The way your question reads, it's possible that an opposing player scored 5 TDs against the Chiefs. Anyone want to figure that one out?

ct

of course it's lenny

actually my calendar says Len Dawson passed for a club-record 6 TD in 1964 vs Denver. doesn't actually say he's the only QB evah, I just assumed that he was. never heard of anyone else doin it.

it's kind of a weak calendar, but has a few nice bits of info, like yesterday's abner haynes bit.

Bingo.

Abner Haynes with the Texans vs oakland in a 43-11 win over Oakland in 1961.

The answer is Abner Hayes. SNR got it right first.

Its still kind of cool to read the trivia daily.

Like who are the three former KC Chiefs QB's to lead the franchise
to post season wins ?

For those that have the calendars...lets stay quiet and let the
planet guess.

Dawson, Montana and Deberg.

Only QBs to lead Chiefs to post season wins, I think.

yup..its dam sad when you think about it.

Len Dawson 5 playoff wins
Joe Montana 2 playoff wins
Steve DeBerg 1 play off win

The lack of this franchise developing a QB under King Carl is PATHETIC.
THe lack of PLAYOFF WINS under KING Carl is PATHETIC.
