Seriously, he is the most committed person I have ever run across to the Iraq effort and truly believes in what he is saying. I think if someone is going to get the blame or if a miracle occurs the credit, patteeu would be an excellent candidate. So vote for patteeu as War Czar!!

Commitment to what you're saying is great for consistency.

Commitment to reality's a lot better.

Patteeu's damn qualified to be the czar of my body excretions.

That said, I voted "Yes absolutely."

Are you admitting that I kick the crap out of you (figuratively) when your diarrhea of the mouth disconnects you from the underlying facts?

I need to know how much the job pays and how closely will I be working with Dana Perino (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dana_Perino) before I vote? Also, will I have to give up my job as czar of Direckshun's body excretions, as he puts it?

will I be working with Dana Perino (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dana_Perino)?
Excellent question.

Buddy, whatever keeps you out of positions of power.

I'll gladly absorb physical abuse for the good of the country. When the poets write of me years from now, they will speak of a hero.

You sound more like a martyr to me. But in any event, I'm happy to help you feel like your life has meaning. :thumb:

Correct, he is the only person here that will not skip around the issues and not stand up for himself, furthermore he defends his position thoroughly and will sit for the interrogations the freaks refuse to, no names but hello meme, tj, penchief and jaz - learn something from this man. It's fine to be against the president if that's what you think, but if you get called out, don't hide and say "I choose not to answer"

Patteeu should be respected for he is the one single person here who will not answer a question with a question.

Yes. I vote yes. Patteeu for War Czar! Dum dum ta dum dum tadumtadumtadum dum.

Patteeu could convince George Orwell that Peace is War. He could convince a dying Patrick Henry that the Patriot Act is liberty. And he's tried his damnedest to convince me that George Bush is not a mouthpiece for a gigantic power grab designed to deprive the American people of their voice in government.

If anybody could be a lackey for this president and his agenda, it would be patteeu.

LMAO Nice speech.

If I get this job and I have any say over Guantanamo at all, I'll make sure your cell has all the amenities. :)

I'm applying for black ops and psy ops coordinator. :)
I was quite the maverick when I was with the Bureau. You can ask my former supervisor in Denver for a reference. :) :D

All options remain on the table, Mr. mlyonsd. Or should I call you Mr. Deceptively Prolific Thread Starter (http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=161225). :)

I don't think so. We've already seen what heppens when folks in more-or-less ideological lockstep with the admin have that role (cough...Rumsfeld...cough). That, and (nothing personal) I'd rather see someone with a better command of the history of Conflict in that role.

Thus, I nominate Amnorix for the position, with RadarChief as his asst. (Sorry, Am. It's a dirty job, but I know you can do it) ;)

That said, if patty gets the job, I'd like to apply to be the Advocatus Diaboli.

Then I'd like to apply for two jobs in your department.

B-52 bombadier and Czar spokesperson. I'd really enjoy sitting in a senate hearing and tell Carl Levin to STFU.

Well I've already promised the spokesman job to Chagrin, but you can definitely be in charge of bombing. I've also got an opening for someone who will sit next to me in Congressional hearings to make it look like I've got so much work to do that I need an aid to help me keep it all straight. I'd imagine that you could do some talking to Carl Levin in that role (or at least flip him off when the cameras aren't focused on us). :thumb:

I have tremendous respect for Pat's knowledge, intelligence and integrity.

That gives him a significant leg up on Bush/Cheney in my book, so I'm in favor...

If nominated I will not run. If elected I will not serve.

Seriously, whoever is left to clean up that mess can't help but get dirty -- irredeemably so. The Iraq fiasco will haunt this administration through all eternity, just as Vietnam did to LBJ.

Although I'll mention Halliburton etc. from time to time, and certainly if there was no oil there this would never have happened, I don't think the Admin was badly intentioned. I'm sure they did think it was best for America. But destroying China as an economic competitor is also "best for America". One cannot DO all things that are best for you.

This was colossally stupid on so many levels it boggles the mind that reasonably intelligent people, with hopefully reasonably intelligent advisers, ever though this was a good idea.

Questions for the new War Czar:

1. Is it true that Iran is actively meddling in the Iraq situation and, if so, what do you intend to do about it?

2. What is your reaction to the numerous polls lately that a majority of Iraqis themselves actually want the US to withdraw?
