Hope you like handoffs and short passes because that is all we are going to see next year. This team is going to make Martyball look like the '84 Dolphins by comparison. Finally after years the Chiefs were showing some spark on offense, but they had a coach who forgot he needed a defense too. Now we have a coach that's going to bring back three yards and a cloud of dust. If we run LJ 400 times again he is going to be done. What else do we have though. We are right back with the 30 something has-been at QB that will not be able to move the offense on a consistent basis, unless you count moving the ball to midfield and playing field position. What's next, going back to the wing-T? I'm all for improving the defense but not at the cost of going back to square one on offense. Why can't we find a coach that can get both sides of the ball moving? Not much of a secret why its been 37 seasons since we went to the Super Bowl.

The whole picture looks like Herm is building the D to stay close in games and hopein the O can score just enough to win ....

Was that what Herm's Jets looked like? All running and no deep passing?

Let's pick apart your ****ing idiocy bit by tasty bit.

1) Herm is trying to develop a young guy to take over at QB. Something not even attempted by Marty or Gun, or with Carl as GM up to this point.

2) Herm put together a very good passing attack in NY when Pennington was healthy. Injuries are not Herm's fault.

3) Herm is not afraid to play young talent, something Grandpa Dick almost seemed dead set against.

4) All you have to base Herm's offensive philosophy on is 1 season in KC where the starting QB was down for 3/4ths of the year while our offensive line started to go downhill. ANY HC is going to play more conservative with the back up in there.

5) We might open up the offense a little more if Herm had ANYTHING to work with at WR besides Kennison.

6) Herm made the playoffs and had a winning record last year with DAMON HUARD starting at QB and Jordan Black at LT.

YOU...well, I don't know WTF you did but it wasn't coach a pro team to the playoffs Mrs. Cleo...

This whole picture looks like our offense is OLD as hell and unless we draft great this year Vince Lombardi couldn't push them to a top 10 offensive ranking...
