Why did they draft Dumervil again?

The bad news is that Jacksonville must've figured that they could get their guy four picks later, after Cincinnati, Tennessee, and New York (Giants). QB is the position that won't be taken by those three.

My top five for the Chiefs:

1. Brady Quinn
2. Alan Branch
3. Dwayne Bowe
4. Leon Hall
5. Dwayne Jarrett

1st, 3rd and 6th for Denver's 1st. How does that look on your chart rainman?

Denver gave 984, got back 950 if they're all still in the same place in the round. Pretty even since some compensation picks have been added.

Ok....this would suck...but I'm just throwing it out there.

Miami has two picks in the 2nd round worth 800 points on the chart. They could trade those two to Dallas for their 1st and draft Brady Quinn before us. Dallas's 1st round pick is worth 780 points.

The thing about trading before #23 is that, assuming the 3 teams are Miami and Cleveland and Chicago, only Chicago would really be appealing to trade down with because they still have a pick in the 1st round.

A team in front of us trading down with Cleveland would knock their 1st pick into the early 2nd round. And a team trading with Miami would go down even farther. I think those teams would have to make a heck of an offer to get Jax or Dallas to move that far down.
